Richard’s Island Perimeter Drains

Richard promised me his crew would do a great job, and they delivered. It is not often that my expectations are exceeded, but they truly were. He and his crew were polite, explained everything they were going to do, and then tidied up and made things safe at the end of every day. Even when they thought no one was looking, his team worked so very hard and steady to get the job done in time. I was just so impressed. Aside from seeing one of the fellas crawling on his knees to make sure no stray rocks were hidden in the grass, the topper today was Richard dropping off a new shovel for me because mine got lost in the shuffle! We are so grateful for the excellent work Richard and his team have done for us. They responded in a timely manner, helped us in planning the best possible option for our property repairs and it was well done with quality work. They even went above and beyond to make sure our water drainage issues were taken care of when we realized there was more to the problem than when we first assessed. Friendly people however their ability to scope and track perimeter drains weren't successful after several visits and considerable cost to myself.Competition had my drains sorted out within an hour.

I don't normally write reviews, but Richard, Jenny and their team are exceptional and worthy of this review. They are professional, knowledgeable and fair. They worked with us to replace our old, collapsing concrete drain pipes. Having just moved into our new home, we did not have perimeter drains in the budget. Richard and Jenny went out of their way to ensure we had the system we needed by guiding us to do some of the work ourselves. They are reliable, and understand what it means to be part of a community. We give them the highest recommendation.

These guys are the BEST!!! Timely and job well done! Friendly and helpful. Had several quotes on my front perimeter drains. These guys were the best price, saved my lilac bush when others said it couldn't be done, had a good company pour the concrete and did not 'cheap out' on products used or ways of doing the job. Were great when it became a bit more and didn't charge more. Answered all my questions and made sure it was done right. I would recommend this company and their staff to anyone who needs their perimeter drains done. And Jenny....works as hard as any of the guys! Love this company.

Richard and his partner came and scoped our drains and showed us exactly what was happening to cause the flooding that we had in our basement. They told us what we should consider doing right away, what could be done in stages and what was fine and didn't need any replacement - we really appreciated this honesty and that there was no attempt to have us replace drains that were still in good condition. The quote to do the work was very reasonable.They showed up on the appointed date and the crew worked hard through some terrible weather to get the job done in under the estimated time frame. They were fast, courteous, friendly and quiet (other than the jackhammer for a couple of hours to take up concrete I never heard anything more than muted conversation). Care was taken to protect the grass area as much as possible and the clean up was fantastic. They put everything back and tidied up such that the space actually looks better now than before they started!I would absolutely recommend Richard and his team, we are very happy with the work they did and would not hesitate to use them again in the future if needed.Thank you Richard and team! Richard, his wife, and their adorable dog came out to do our perimeter drain inspection. They were friendly and informative. They actually invited me to watch the camera while they scoped the drains. They provided ways to help keep our drains healthy. Will absolutely use them again and recommend them to others.

Richard, his partner, and their crew did an excellent job replacing the drainage around our home and connecting it the our new municipal drain service. They and their subcontractors took care in protecting our home, did a great job troubleshooting obstacles, and were very helpful when asked to do extras. Their crew were always polite and professional. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing a drainage specialist.

Had our perimter drains done but in the process they jackhammered into my crawl space and have never come back to fix the the job! Going on 8 months now with no call backs! Very unprofessional! Would never recommend them to anyone!

Though I hope to never need a perimeter drain replacement again, if I do I will be calling Richard, Jenny and their crew to do the work.I purchased an older home and learned the original tiles were in need of replacement. Richard and Jenny took me through the entire process and 'held my hand' so I felt comfortable with and understood the work that was going on.There were some unforseen (and external) issues that ended up extending the job beyond the original timeframe but the year old quote came in on budget.Island Perimeter Drains knows their stuff. They are calm, professional, friendly, fast and efficient. I highly recommend them and am glad I stumbled upon them during a Google search for someone to scope my perimeter drain a year ago.
