excellent for one night. One star down due to poor internet (general issue for most of the NFL RV parks)

Visiting from Ontario, Canada. This is a beautiful campground, and the walk down to the river is fantastic. Great services, all for $35/nite plus tax. However, the day prior to our arrival, I received a phone call. Apparently the trailer in our booked (& paid for in March 2022) site had an issue" and couldn't be moved. We were supposed to be in a riverfront site. We ended up in a wide open site next to a monstrous Class A motorhome. Upon arrival

Good park, well managed and clean. Lots of trails, well manicured grounds with lots of little extras to make the experience extra enjoyable. Full service, great strong wifi. My family had a blast here. Friendly staff, good vibes! Thanks for boosting our truck, it made our day!

Warning - this campground does not keep its word with regards to a paid reserved site number! I spoke in detail to the park secretary about wanting a wooded private site for our stay. I booked the specific wooded site almost 2 months in advance and upon arrival, they had given our site to someone else (despite the fact we had already paid for it) and we were left with an open very unprivate site. I was not impressed and expressed my disgust several times. I was not compensated at all (nor even apologized to) and was basically told that they sometimes move people around. Clearly they don't understand the whole point of booking a site number! During our stay and after talking to several people staying there, they had done the exact same thing to them! This is a very nice, clean, well kept campground but due to their broken reservation policy, we will not camp here again. My paid reserved site should not be given to someone else who arrives before me!

Amazing park, the nicest we’ve ever stayed in! Quiet, spacious sites, beautiful trees, well organized, and very very clean. Didn’t miss not being on the waters edge. The only improvement I’d like to see is in the laundromat, it would be helpful to have a second dryer and a place to hang your hangers. A simple bar hanging from the ceiling would do it.Would also be great to be able to get a hold of someone in the office for booking during the day. But overall, this place is a little gem!!

We parked our motorhome at the park. The staff was excellent, it’s one of the best campgrounds I have ever camped at. We were on the river at site 7. Nice large sites , we used the laundry facilities, very clean . This park is a five star.

As a retired couple, we enjoyed this clean, spacious, full-service park on the beautiful Exploits River. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great area for walking/hiking & biking.

Beautiful RV campground overlooking the River and the city park. If had all the 3way site amenities needed plus laundry and hot showers. Each of the sites are individually treed for privacy! Very convenient to town so that you can easily tour the area! It’s just a short drive tithe salmon interpretation center as well!

We stayed here for a couple of nights and before we left we booked a couple more. The park is neat and tidy the staff are very helpful you can get wifi but it may be spotty, the sites are fairly level and the 3 way hookup is awesome. In the 21 NL travel guide it says pets are not allowed but this is a misprint.

What a delightful place to stay! Easy to find, friendly, welcoming staff in the office, level sites, full hookups and peace and quiet. One reviewer commented that you never hear the staff picking up your garbage and it's so true! The garbage just kind of - vanishes! We had site 19 at the end of a row and it was wonderfully private with a view of the river. I can't speak to the bathrooms as we didn't use them, but we did laundry and the machines worked perfectly and the laundry room was immaculate. It's just far enough outside of the city to feel rural, yet close enough that we could pop in to Walmart, Sobeys and Canadian Tire to pick up some things we needed. Make sure to visit the Salmonid Interpretive Center while you're here.Would we stay here again? Absolutely!
