After 2 1/2 years of several incompetent property managers, Marquee has found a gem in Amira Ali. Professional and courteous. She genuinely cares, and most importantly...gets stuff done. Hopefully Amira will stay with us for a long time.

These reviews are pretty accurate- I would not recommend living here. There were multiple issues that were a headache to deal with but my major concerns were with the Property Management - Kimberley.The A.C. in the unit was not working and it took weeks for management to reach back out to me to schedule a repair.(Weeks of no AC during the summertime) Management finally then provides a date for the repair to occur, however, no one showed up.I wrote to Kimberley letting them know that no one came and I would like to reschedule the repair to a future date as I was going to be leaving for vacation.The next day, my security camera picked up that a repairman entered my unit without a written notice and while no one was home.To watch someone just enter my home without a proper notice was a complete violation of my privacy. If I didn't have a security camera, and they didn't provide a written notice that they were entering- I would not be protected if ANYTHING had gone wrong. I had gone through all the precautions of turning off all the lights, locking doors, and ensuring my home and valuables were safe knowing that I would be away for an extended period of time.Upon my return, they had left the A.C. on for the whole duration of my trip.I felt outraged and disappointed by this whole ordeal, and contacted Kim to respond to this and resolve this concern. No response at all. I followed up days later hoping for acknowledgment, an apology, something, anything - Completely ignored.

The building itself is not bad at all. Very quiet, great appliances, good HVAC system, and is probably one the best buildings I've lived in in regards to Fire Alarm issues. The down fall of this building is the building management. They rarely return emails, regardless of their urgency. As a result, you are usually left to dealing with building issues on your own. Fortunately the building is still new so there aren't many issues but they are terrible at managing the small amount that already exists.Overall, I wouldn't recommend living here. There are better options out there for lower costs.

If you are considering leasing an apartment with Marquee, I would highly suggest you look elsewhere. I am completely dissatisfied with my experience renting here. I will be considering any and all possible options to end this lease early.1. My move in date was scheduled for September 01, 2020. I signed my lease in July 2020. I received an email 5 business days before I was supposed to move in that occupancy will be delayed because the building was not ready (it still isn’t completely finished). Outrageous and inexcusable, especially considering I was moving 3 hours away. I was instructed to stay at a hotel until my floor was ready. I stayed at a hotel from 09-01-20 to 10-16-20.2. Upon moving in, it was extremely evident this residence was rushed to be finished. The floors are uneven, the paint job is horrendous; it looks like a 3-year-old painted it, there’s scratches and chips on the floors, walls, cupboards, and appliances, there’s a chip in the front door, the moulding is scratched and damaged, dozens of bugs were dead on the floor, one leg on the floating island in the kitchen doesn’t touch the ground so it wobbles, the shelf in the closet is unfinished… need I say more?3. In addition, I entered my unit to an oven that didn’t turn on/work, a fridge that makes a screeching sound every 30 seconds, a bathroom fan that continuously thumps every time I turn it on, and whenever the water is running in the bathroom the toilet makes an obnoxious clicking sound. It’s been weeks and I’m still waiting on these issues to be resolved (except the oven). I was told there was an issue with the water line when this place was built (that was never fixed), so I would have to “deal with the clicking noise in the bathroom.”4. This residence advertises an outdoor terrace, fitness room and yoga space, party rooms, and on-site parking. None of these amenities are available for use. This was never disclosed to me upon moving in; I assumed I would have access to these amenities. In addition, the indoor parking garage is still not complete. I have been instructed to park at the hotel across the street. I have to walk in the hotel, check in with the desk staff to let them know why I’m entering the hotel, and take an elevator down to the parking garage. The same process for coming back home. There is no way to enter the parking garage without entering the hotel and walking through. Again, this was never disclosed to me when I moved in. I had to ask the security guard what to do.5. There is construction on my floor all day because this building is still not complete. I was told there would be minimal disruption throughout the day. All day long I hear banging, drilling, and loud conversations. I work from home and this is not ideal.6. The front door intercom is still not functioning for visitors to enter. They cannot call me to enter the building. I have to walk down each time a visitor arrives because security will not allow them up.7. The property management turn around is quick and abrupt. The new manager, Kim, is extremely crude, bitter, and harsh. She appears to have no interest in helping the tenants with our issues.Overall, I absolutely cannot fathom the fact that I’m still expected to pay almost a couple thousand dollars a month to live here, with absolutely no access to any amenities and the continuous maintenance issues and unit flaws. There was no care or consideration put into the completion of this residence. While I understand minor growing pains with opening a new building, this management team has some serious reflecting to do about how they plan to address these issues with residents, as well as their style of communication. Information that should’ve been disclosed to me upon arriving was not. I will not tolerate this shady behaviour anymore. I cannot wait to move out.

Amira- the property administrator is truly the best thing that happened to this building! She cares a lot for the tenants and her door is always open for us.

Uneven floor and bad paint in room. Even the manager team manage to fix this, but this still shows the idea that this building is expedited to finish and start to open. All public facilities are either not opening or working with faulty. Garbage conduit never work in night times and it is only gonna be fixed during morning. Bad security camera and slow reaction on manager team. A fire alarm that goes off at 1AM, and get fixed with in 3 hours and more, this is a shame! Parking that in side the building is not finished, the waiting time is even more than 60 days. Alternative parking are either ground outdoor parking or a inconvenience Hilton hotel parking which you now need to go inside the hotel through the elevators, you know this isn’t nice and you should state at the start of our contract. The public parking which is also inside the building have a lower price, and we are not allow to cancel any of our parking reserves even this isn’t done yet. Not a single thing are following through the plan, and you shouldn’t manage clients will be pleasure with your such “Alternative” way to work around the problems like you didn’t see it!

We have recently moved into this building. In my experience thus far, the management team has been quick to respond and very proactive. The building itself is brand new and has been very thoughtfully laid out, there are so many windows which makes for beautiful bright spaces. The closets are amazing, well organized. As is the case with all new builds, it typically takes some time to work out all the kinks. From what I can see, the team is working hard to make sure the tenants are happy. We had Danny to our unit to fix a few things and he was great, made sure we were completely happy before he left. We love it here and are very happy with our choice to move here.

*The Worst management EVER!*Just save your troubles , live somewhere else.Your life will be easier without them.*The lady in the property management office always pretends that she’s not there. The security has already said that she’s in the office, but she still keeps the door locked. What a disrespectful and rude attitude to clients!She’s extremely procrastinated in solving problems or just some simple things like sending emails….she can’t do it!The facilities of the building itself are well-equipped and new. However, the rent here is almost the highest in the town. Their management service is not worth for such a high price!

I’ve been living here for almost 2 years and have seen a significant positive change since the new property manager joined us. The one star loss is because of the steep price we are charged to use amenities that should be included in our rent. It’s strange we’re asked to pay to use the lounge rooms in the building.Otherwise, the building is safe, maintenance response is very quick since the management change, no noise complaints and the staff are very nice.
