I was very impressed by the 2 chimney guys that showed up to do the work, very friendly and they finished the work in the time they stated, i was also impressed by the work they did, very excellent job, i'm a perfecttionist when it comes to doing work on my house, my car, even when i was out in industry working as an engineer, i was very impressed by the work and final product, yes, i will recommend Best Chimney Services to anyone, oh yes, the price for the work was very reasonable compared to other estimates from other chimney repair co.'s good job all around

Boston's Best Chimney rebuilt a chimney and installed a liner on my triple decker and they were excellent. They were extremely reasonably priced compared to roofers and other dedicated chimney professionals. Both the office personnel and the ground crew were communicative, punctual, and courteous. Shawn and Mike answered all of my questions throughout the build and respected the property and our neighbors. The end result is high quality and I would definitely recommend.

On 04/25 I took an hour for an inspection to remove two chimneys from a project in Brookline, they sent me a maintenance bill and I still haven't received anything from them. Now he wants to make another appoinment to go see the fireplace. They promised me to have the quote the next day and it's been more than 20 days and nothing

They assessed the job and rebuilt our 100 year old chimney stack, the leaning tower. It was a 16 inches too high with crumbling mortal and leaning precariously. In two days the job was done, cleaned up, great assistants, quiet, respectful, prompt. Not cheap but I never want cheap, I want good and reasonable. I never chose the highest or lowest price, no guarantee either will be good. How we were treated made the difference. I had one company that I had worked with before and very well known. they would come from Canton for $250.00 to assess the job and if hired would NOT apply the consultation/assessment towards the job?! Lost their #. It is worth the peace of mind and few extra dollars with professional and nice people to do the work. Will have them back for the back chimney, pointing and flashing repair and other services. Very satisfied. Thank you, Lynne and Scott Anderson

A+ all around. Needed to get debris removed from a steam boiler exhaust vent. These guys did an absolutely amazing job and showed up 20 minutes early for an emergency call. I will use them again whenever I need to and definitely will refer to anyone in Boston. Rich who I spoke to very professional and helpful. Thank you!!

Like many on this site, we were encouraged to contact Best at the end of last year to repair a decades old, drafty unsafe chimney as they were the ‘experts’. I wish I could say we got to a complete quote on the job. Five months after my initial inquiry, four technicians later, numerous emails & phone calls … & many excuses I gave up! Honestly, they blew me off. We decided to replace the fireplace door & call it a day.We are aware & sympathetic to material shortages & uneven staffing. In this case Best was disorganized & unprofessional.

Matthew was very professional and helpful. He called me ahead of time to let me know when they were arriving and when he arrived he was very thorough and informative. Would highly recommend these guys.

Matt Enegess and his crew did a lousy job in their overpriced attempt to address a leak in our chimney. In fact, they caused even more problems. Not only was Mr. Enegess aggressively rude, demanded immediate payment before inspection, but he never actually fixed the leak. The irony in the nomenclature of their business is truly laughable.

Tread cautiously and get a second opinion! I scheduled a chimney cleaning and inspection with Best Chimney Services. They came to my home and told me I needed to do thousands of dollars in upgrades immediately. I got a second opinion and was told Best Chimney Services was trying to upsell me. The second opinion cleaned my chimney for a few hundred dollars instead of the several thousand dollars Best Chimney was trying to charge me.
