Moose Deer Point Marina

This is a really well run marina, fair pricing, organized and great ice cream as well!

This is a marina on a Reservation in Muskoka, ON. There is a water taxi, a store, pump for gas, and a good size staff on hand. Store your boat here and set sail.

.This is an amazing business, they will do anything for the customer. Their gas pump was 'down' and the drove us to a competitor to get us gas ro complete our trip.

Always friendly staff to help out! We enjoy our visits here year after year!

I worked at moose deer point Marina so just started to be when it was built over the years I worked there I met a lot of interesting people different nationalities but they were very kind and polite I got to know what I'm over the years because I work there and drove taxi boat and they were very nice customers all the older customers are passing away that I met over the years now it's the Young generation that I started to meet their family and you were very kind and polite I enjoy taking them to their cottages and we shared stories together over the years at the marina I've done a lot of emergency runs at night and I enjoyed it I haven't even took him to please so at night where do you have to go do this one special customer she was supposed to have open heart surgery and she was very young I was put on call 24 hours you were just waiting for the okay there. Her parents we're very nice and polite when the time was come for her to go I was the one to pick her up and her parents and meet the ambulance at the marina haven't seen the movie a few years but I've got a nice card from them Stayton jack cheese pine she's doing well I miss working at the marina and I missed the customer as I've met over the years moose deer point Marina is a very nice place the staff members are kind and polite no I don't work there it's like a part of me who is taking away I've worked with all the others older staff were there over the years and I watch the marina bro and I watched it word got it is today but the customers are there are very polite and kind that is good maybe one day I'll get to go back to work there before my time is the goal and meet the customers I meant over the years but I do see them there when I go down and I do sit talk and share some of the stories over the years that I met them that's what I know about most your point Marina moose deer point Marina is part of me because I left part of me there over the years that I work there and why and when I grew from the day it was built the day I was gone from there I remember most your point Marina it's a very special place

I would recommend this marina. They take good care of their customer’s boats. They are quick to fix them. The store is adequate in selection.

My wife and I stayed there one night recently as a transient, thinking we might want a slip there for the 2021 season. Firstly, there was no response on VHF 68 when coming into the marina. Called on the cell phone, and the person on the phone said they do not have docking assistance, and did not know where our assigned slip was exactly... After a bit of searching on our own on, [making several wrong guesses on a windy day] we managed to find it.... A 30 foot dock for a 46 foot boat... Really!?!? Then looking at the dock cleats, some of the lag bolts are loose and almost coming out.... I quickly grabbed a wrench and turned them back in while my wife tried to hold the boat from moving.... After going the wrong way on different paths and docks [no signs or directions] we finally found our way to the office to pay for the night.Most of the docks and infrastructure at this marina, look like they were built back in the 70s. For a marina that has been around this long, one would have expected MUCH better! Not sure where all the fees have gone over the years, but it's obvious not much has gone back into the marina. We will not be staying there again, and I do not recommend it to anyone else.

Our Four Winn’s has engine trouble while we were at Henry’s restaurant. Their mechanic came over on his jet ski and got it running and only charged us for an hours labor. Frank was great - explaining everything as he went and providing advice on how to prevent the issue in future.

Very nice peaple to deal with

I bought a cottage last fall on 12 mile and needed a place to dock my boat-Moose Deer Point was the obvious spot and in March I first called asking about a slip. I was told that would be Jason and he would call back. I left 14 messages over the next 3 months, stopped by in person twice, filled out two forms and I still haven't heard back either about pricing or availability. Ended up going elsewhere.
