Over the last year we have developed a lovely relationship with Wellwise to help improve my Dad's quality of life. Wellwise has worked tirelessly and consistently gone above and beyond to help meet my Dad's needs, leaving me in tears of gratitude for their compassion and dedication. Poor customer service and argumentative staff.... Patent answer was this is a big company" and we are focused more on price..... They didn't want to spend the 5 min. to make my 90 year old mom comfortable. This is not a positive or healthy place to bring your elderly family members.... All of the attempts at purchases were not cheap items $5000 scooter and recently $200 prescription socks..... We will never go back even though they are very close to our house..... Better to maybe try Rexall"

Bought a $300 dollar plastic shower chair for my dad after his surgery. Took it out of the box when I got home only to find it doesn't fit. Called about returning it. Indifferent person on phone says I can't return it...but she knew of places I could donate it to.I just spent $300 on a chair I can't use and they won't take back. I'm pretty annoyed.think twice before shopping here or at shoppers drug mart.

Staff are friendly but poorly trained in what they sell. Couldn’t describe features of the products sold there. Some items not on display, they didn’t know if available in stock; took a long search in stockroom to come back empty. Sent me to a competitor who, turns out, doesn’t sell any of these items! Very unprofessional.

Friendly and caring staff walked me through the entire process of choosing the correct knee brace for my needs, encouraging me to try on as many as needed and walk around to get a feel for comfort. They were up front about the strict no return policy, to be honest I wouldn't want to purchase returned medical supplies, so it was a relief I hadn't thought of. They also have a great selection to choose from, should've stopped here first and will in the future.

bought an item that doesn't fit and is unreturnable for health reasons. sales clerk does not know there products at all. You blindly trust people to help you, but the sale outweighs the feedback. this business is not good for seniors at all.

I went into the store to return an online purchase. I wasn't aware that if you order online you are purchasing from a third party" so you cannot return or exchange items at the Wellwise by Shoppers retail store.The actual retail store is NOT the issue - the online ordering is the issue. Slow delivery and returning an item seems impossible. Here I am 2 months later with no return / refund - even though I received an automatic reply that it would be handled in 2 business days. I've called twice with no resolve. Today I was asked to resubmit a return request again (even though the first request went through since I got an automatic reply).What a waste of time and money!"

After having an awful time at a similar business on Nanaimo Street in Victoria, I'm so happy I found Lyn and the team at Shoppers Home Healthcare. Easy to deal with, answer their phones during business hours, and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Would highly recommend.
