Tsujiri Dundas

The Shiratama Parfait satisfied all my matcha cravings! However, I would prefer to not have brown sugar syrup drizzled over the ice cream since the toppings were already sweet enough! Despite this, it did not take away from the delicious flavour and texture combination from the smooth matcha ice cream, chewy mochi balls, toasty sesame powder, or sweet red beans.Hojicha latte was a bit too sweet for my taste, however, the matcha latte is perfectly balanced.

I used to love tsujiri but the quality has really decreased both in value and service.Ordered the brown sugar parfait, craving for matcha soft serve…but half the cup was filled with cornflakes??? See pictures - no where does it say on their menu OR the picture show any cornflakes. Is this even legal? It doesn’t seem like part of the tsujiri brand and this store just added it to cut costs from giving less soft serve..I also added (and paid extra) for more shiratama (the mochi ball-like things). I pointed to the “shitatama parfait” and said I want the same shiratama stick on that parfait (wooden stake and kinako powder included) but…they gave it to me without the powder.Then when I asked for the powder, the girl was visibly annoyed and told me that’s an extra 50cents…like why didn’t she ask me that when I ordered this stick and pointed at the picture?? And really, to go back to the front of the line to charge me 50cents for a tiny scoop of soybean powder?? Lol the service is a joke.

They ran out of tapioca balls, and there’s supposed to be 2 in my dessert, and I ask if it’s still the same price and she said yes. They sell one Tapioca ball for 0.5$!!! She said she will add more ice-cream but she did not. Basically paid more money for nothing. I used to buy it once in a while, but this is really unacceptable. The Quality of Matcha is not as good as before as well the quantity. Not recommend.

Really satisfying deep matcha taste.I love all the notes of matcha. Usually matcha drinks never quite hit the mark. But the matcha soft serve satisfied all my cravings. Slight bitterness matched with slight sweetness. Smooth textures balanced with crunchy cone shell. Very fragrant too with no aftertaste.

We had coffee and some dessert. The aroma of the matcha black sesame latte was just perfect for the cold weather and it also tasted really good.

It was mid afternoon during weekdays, store was pretty busy after all these years they ran the business on Dundas.I have tried their most of products and never got disappointed. This time I tried their premium sencha( hot) and soft serve matcha in a cone.I cannot think of anywhere in Toronto where they add so much intense matcha flavour in ice cream. Premium sencha was great as well.

This is one of the best soft serves I have ever had. The matcha taste is perfect and strong. The amount of sugar is just PERFECT and it's not too sweet.If you love matcha, you need to come here. They have lots of matcha drinks as well that I can't wait to try! The person who made my icecream was also EXTREMELY happy and smiley- it made my day.

Matcha ice cream was good but corn flakes and other ingredients not much. Worth to try once but not maybe again. Very friendly staff.
