My rescue dog and I are so grateful to the amazing team at Terwillegar Veterinary Clinic! Every staff member, from the reception team to vet techs to the vets, were so kind and friendly to us at every appointment and before and after her surgeries. The whole team is organized and great at communicating so I knew exactly what was going on, what to expect, and what my options are to make sure my dog could live her best, healthiest life. It's amazing that the clinic partners with rescues to provide care for their animals in the first place, but the service and care we received throughout was truly exceptional.

I would give this clinic 10 stars out of 5 if I could. After a long series of vet clinics where we felt like dollar signs rather than patients, we found Terwillegar Vet Clinic. They have treated us great as we have worked through health challenges with one of our dogs and when we thought we had ran out of practical options, they stepped up and helped provide our dog another chance and in the process saved our daughters' hearts. Their compassion, their professionalism, and their empathy knows no bounds.They have been willing to work with us to fit sick animals in on fully booked days to save us needing to pay the ridiculous rates at the emergency vet and showed the utmost kindness as they helped one of our cats cross the rainbow bridge.In summary, I hope we always have this amazing clinic and these incredible vets in our community.

Had a great first experience the staff was very friendly & the vet who we dealt with was so kind and personable! Was with a friend for her kittens 2nd shots. Luna says thanks for all the treats!

Lovely experience at the vet, you can tell the staff all love what they do. Due to the nature of our checkup we had a vet and a tech almost the whole time. Jody and Sherry were a wonderful team and made it clear my dogs health was their top priority. Even telling me where I can buy some of the medicine or supplies elsewhere in case it was more convenient for us.During the visit they made a real point to keep us updated on the prices of everything we're doing so it wouldn't be a surprise, and finding generic brand options where they were available. Jody took the time to really dig into what we already had for supplies and our dogs lifestyle/ history to make relevant recommendations and modify her treatment plan.Finally at the end of it all we rushed out the door tails wagging and forgetting to take one of the medications for my dogs allergies. SO THEY DROVE IT TO MY HOUSE! How sweet?!?Great service, kind staff, clean, and locally owned. Do bring your pets here.

Myself & my family have been clients of Terwillegar Vet for nearly 20 years. Everyone I have dealt with is great, but Jody Bennett is AMAZING. she truly cares about you and your animal & will walk through everything with you thoroughly and be there for you when it’s tough news. I highly recommend Jody Bennett for any animals you have :)

Thank you Dr. Bennett and the whole team for taking such amazing care of Milo.Milo is a rescue dog from Egypt, and Dr. Bennett has treated him since his arrival in Alberta in March of this year (2022) for everything from worms, dermatitis, chemical burn, and she was spot on with her referral to neurology for suspected brain trauma.Most recently she completed surgery on Milo for a foreign body in his stomach. After an extremely tragic start to life, Milo is doing so much better thanks to the diligence and care of Dr. Bennett and the whole team at Terwillegar Vet Clinic. Milo and his brother Gus have a bright future ahead, thank you!!

Super friendly staff! Always available to see or dog and cats. They helped us treat our old 16 year cat through his last year.

This clinic is phenomenal. Prior to my arrival in AB my partners family had been seeing them for the entire lives of their 2 previous dogs and I can see why!Both my cat and dog are nervous when it comes to the exams/vaccinations, specifically my cat. They keep your pets mental well-being in mind first and foremost. After one failed attempt to even get my cat out of her carrier for her yearly exam/vaccines 2yrs ago, we had the appointment rescheduled for the next day free of charge and sent home with gabapentin. This significantly helped and kept everyone safe(cat and humans) from that point onwards! No matter who we see, they play with my dog and give him treats for a couple minutes before the exam to get him comfortable.All the front of house staff are amazing on the phone and in person. Always so excited to see both my pets when we come in, are totally ok with us meandering around the front waiting area to help ease their anxiety about being there.Dr Bennett is particularly amazing. She is always so kind, compassionate, is always keeping up with current research, providing information on optional processes/procedures and explaining why someone would or would not choose those optional procedures and does not pressure you into one or the other.
