Queen Sana

Avoid at all costs. The team of managers are apathetic to the needs of the tenants and will never get back to you. Impossible to talk to someone who can do something. This winter, they sought to remodel but entered my unit with no written notice. Further, they tore up all amenities including toilet, oven and sinks, making the apartment near unlivable. They expected us to move to Fenwick towers with less than 24 hour notice. To top it all off, this was at the height of exam season. After trying to submit a complaint for two full weeks, nobody in the head office responded or followed up. Again, avoid at all costs.

My friends lived in here and they saw mice and ants all the time!PS. The manager is so rude!

Signing here was one of my single biggest regrets. The building is rat and bedbug infested and Templeton property managers couldn't care less. Elevator is constantly broken. They wont even take my calls any more to let them know about the issues. The building manager Maria is the rudest and most resentful lady I've ever met. She enters my unit all the time with zero warning and has hung up on me on several occasions when making simple requests. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Awful experience from day one. Had to wait several hours to move in compared to when we were told we were able to/took possession of our unit. Unit was filthy, revolving door of building managers through the year, harassment by certain managers, half our work orders were never attended to, and screwed us out of our deposit with no explanation as icing on the cake. Avoid at all costs.

Have lived there for 8 months. Terrible place. Full of mice and ant. Manager don't care about anything. The day we return the key manager said everything is perfectly clean but two weeks later our deposit returned with 250 CAD LESS!!! These people have no credit, don't move in and don't trust this landlord company!!!

Despite all these negative reviews, the building has gotten new management! I was fortunate enough to not have to deal with the old management. Ricky and Johann (new management) are the best building management I have dealt with since renting. They get maintenance requests dealt with in very reasonable timeframes. They are very personable and friendly, and have made my year living in Queen Sana amazing. Highly recommend the Queen Sana!

Without doubt, this is the worst apartment I have ever lived in 10 years of renting in Halifax and I thought I have had some really bad ones before.The worst part about Queen Sana was definitely the incompetent staff. The superintendents are rude, doesn't care anything and treats tenants with no respect. They aren't helpful or even good listeners and they treat the tenants like they are beneath them. It's so bad that it is almost as if they are trained to be the least helpful they could possibly be. Nothing ever get fixed and no complains will ever get resolved.Tenants have been dealing with pharaoh ants and rats for years. The building is old and smelly, loud parties going on until early morning and from time to time you see people's puke in the elevator. There are three washing machines in total. Avoid this building at all cost, because you WILL regret it!

Basement unit floods. Watch out.
