My very first time having a Donair, thus my first time at Sammy's. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. he explained the roots of Donair, how it became a thing" in eastern Canada and the history of his family and the restaurant.The small is sufficient (I didn't know at the time). Was recommended this place so had to give it a try. Had the donair which was mostly good except wayyyy too much sauce. The sauce was creamy but sweet - not to my liking, but your results may vary.

Best Donair in town!! Always fast and friendly service… even though a competitor is trying to sabotage their business. Sams grill has similar name and logo and in the same plaza…. Suspicious

The best gyros or donair that I have had ever. It's the secret sauce that gets me every time. I have been there countless times over the past 15 years when I'm in Burlington. It's worth an hour drive!

BEST Donairs and Falafels in Burlington! Good quality Halal meat, spiced and cooked perfectly. Would be good to get with the times and have a few more veggie options (like pickled red cabbage, peppers, etc). A bit pricey, especially the drinks. Great people, great food. Cash only!

Genuinely impressive donair. The meat was tasty and much less greasy than other donairs, the sauce is much more well balanced than the average donair sauce as well. Parsley is a smart addition to a classic donair formula, I would recommend for anyone to give it a try.

I head this place was Amazing years ago. It probably was. Sad microwaved extremely dry old meat. I wouldn't even go back for my 15$. So many Amazing Middle Eastern restaurants out there with fresh, un microwaved food!

Fantastic as always, ordered the classic plate. Fresh and yummy. Excellent customer service.Donair is still the best product here but chicken shawarma was more like cut up chicken breast. Rice was salty and falafels were burnt. Bringing it down from 5 stars to 3 stars

Great donair and shawarmas! And very friendly service too! And the baghlavas are yummy too! I would recommend to anyone in the mood for Middle Eastern flavours.The only downside was cash only payment (there is an ATM) and the tables could have been a bit cleaner…
