NO WORK GETS DONEThey had a small motor of mine for almost 2 years and nothing was done to it. They spent over 20 minutes trying to find it a year ago in their mess or their shop and when they did, they THEN told me they found a part to fix it (new housing unit). After ANOTHER year I had to to back and ask about my motor, which I was told “it probably got pushed back because bigger jobs came in and we don’t want boats to freeze.”TWO YEARS YOU HAD MY MOTOR!!!After waiting another 15 minutes for them to even pull up my paperwork (which does not have any dates), they offered me (the housing unit they had sitting on a bench for a year) that “should” work for $60.I will not go back to Boat Mart ever again.

Took my boat engine to get repaired and it took 6 weeks. The first time they repaired every little thing for a $990 but the fuel pump which was my concern to begin with. We were left with a leaky seal on first repair due to poor workmanship. Then once we tried it and it left us to row out we took it back and they then repaired the fuel pump for another $998. So close to $2000 into this repair and this left us truly disappointed in their service and efforts. When we tried to discuss our concerns they were very defensive and unwilling to refund any of the previous unnecessary work.

I have dealt with Ray now for two years and I’m very happy with their staff and their service. I bought the boat from some other outfit and was very disappointed and switched over to BoatMart.I will happily recommend Boat Mart.

Bought my boat here and i get the maintenance done here as well. They do take a while to get stuff done (under staffed perhaps) but since i know they have the most experience in all of central Alberta that's a price I'm will to pay.....

Friendly staff. During the season, they usually they can be very busy, you need to be patient, because when it is your turn, you will get all attention you need.There are new and used boats on sale. Appropriate service and advice are also available.

Purchased a bayliner from them back in August of 2021. The staff were very friendly, polite and cheerfulThe salesman went above and beyond his best to please us. He included a set of ski's in the sale and gave us a great price on a new tow rope and a depth finder.The service department was backlogged and very busy, but they went out of their way and installed the depth finder having the boat ready to go next day. A few days later we went back with questions about the boat the salesman and the service desk gentleman we're very helpful in assisting us with our question and concerns helping resolve the issue quickly.Would definitely recommend shopping at boat Mart and will definitely go back to them.

Had a custom cover made for my pontoon boat by Boat Mart, in Red Deer. They did a great job, and it was below the cost of what other places quoted us. The detailing was spot on and the tarp is a good thickness. This will last us for years to come I am sure. They charged me exactly what they estimated the cost to be, and delivered the finished product in a week as promised. The staff here were very friendly to me, and they have a huge assortment of boating products for sale in their store as well. They have some boats for sale as well. Only issue I had is the follow up, the job was done and they hadn’t called me, so I suggest calling them at the time they promised to have it done. They seem to get busy with other customers, and forget to follow up. But overall still a great experience, once I knew I had to call them and follow up with my work.

I bought a used boat so I could practice docking, loading, and unloading from a trailer. It was more of a fixer upper then I wanted and Boat Mart has been the only store that I have ever bought anything that I've needed for my boat from. I was in there and was looking for some clips and was told I could probably get them cheaper somewhere else. Which I appreciated. Then I asked a question about a factory setting on an intermediate idle screw and the guy just lost it on me. Telling me that he has 5 clipboards of stuff to do just to keep the lights on before he can even think about trying to find that information. Then he said he would call me and took down the serial number of the engine and what I wanted, but I knew he wouldn't call me because he didn't take my name or number. I guess keeping the lights on doesn't include loyal and repetitive customers. Boat Mart did you forget about the 9.9hp trolling motor I've been waiting for?
