Absolutely unprofessional and inconsiderate!! They start up 2 chainsaws at 8 AM!! And a woodchopper by 8:30!! So ridiculous! A whole neighborhood disturbed by this unprofessional company! Would NEVER USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM! And it looks like we're not the only ones that feel this way about their services.

This company completely destroyed the vegetation in an environmentally sensitive river valley. Instead of topping trees they removed old growth trees that were over 3 hundred years old. Their website states that they harm the environment - this is their philosophy. They do not respect land stewardship and landowners rights. Who licensed them?

Twice I've been cursed with them on my property by City of Calgary. The first time the hacked out an active Robin's nest with eggs in it. The second time they grabbed the tips of limbs and hacked it off while pulling on it during winter. This os not proper care of a tree. Then hacked off branches still holding fruit from spring claiming it was deadwood" - but it was a very live branch with no signs of being deadwood at all. They left splintered ends. I would never in a million years recommend their hack jobs

I had a complicated tree removal with many utility lines and hazards in a back alley. Stephen was incredibly responsive and provided updates throughout the entire process. Very happy with the removal and safe professional conduct of the crew.

On July 8, we had an emergency situation where a massive branch fell onto our roof due to tree rot. Arbor-Tech was dispatched through the 311 call as the tree is city owned. Arbor Tech worked tirelessly for 8 hours to bring the tree down and safely remove the branch without further damaging the integrity of our century home. They worked until 11pm - past city noise bylaw; however, as an emergency, they worked until the situation was safe. They were patient with the community neighbours who didn’t seem to understand that it was an emergency situation.

ArborTech finished there contract to remove and trim the utility right of way here yesterday. Thank you to Shane and his Sawyer. Very professional conduct and execution. Would highly recommend this company and this crew!!

While I've never hired them, I've had issues with them due to how they handle street closures.At one point they had parked their vehicles in a bike lane and failed to provide a detour as required by city bylaw. There were no signs on the sidewalk, however when I attempted to pass through, one of the employees unkindly told me that this was not allowed. Again, no pedestrian detour was provided.The second issue was when they were pruning on my street. My car had been blocked in by their vehicle and pylons they had placed, despite there not being any signage in the immediate area warning of no parking. The cones and truck were placed in such a way that made moving my vehicle out of the way unecessarily difficult.I had attempted to call their main office both times but wasn't able to get through to anyone or have a voicemail answered.This company's lack of consideration for the community it operates in disappointing. Both incidents could have been handled by providing adequate signage, and barring that, simple courtesy towards those they interact with.

This is something to say about moral credibility. I just passed two Arbor-tech vehicles on the highway. They were using the right lane dedicated for slow moving traffic where the majority of long haulers and large trucks don’t. This speaks volumes and they deserve to be recognized for it.
