I would never use their services ever again have zero charges against me going in to a situation have Student Legal Services handle my case end up with the crown wanting jail time for a first offense. Paid for their services and yet get nothing out of it you have to do all the leg work find all documents find everything and tell them where to contact and to retrieve those documents so yeah I would not use Student Legal Services in Calgary ever again for lack of Professional Standards. Do not use Calgary student lawyers in the future unless if you want to see jail time for your very first offense ever bunch of hacks and amateurs with my life in their hands and they ruined it

I really enjoyed Law school here, even when it was gruelling. I feel way sharper after this degree. Super interesting, positive experience. Consistently high quality of instruction (compared to 3 other degrees). I definitely recommend it. I feel like the professors really supported me. I was not a big fan of the pressure to find a job after law school. It would be nice if we were automatically paired with articling.

The law library is a great place to study. There are cubicles that are designated to law students, but you can use them if no one is around. It's quiet and clean. I would not have loud discussions or phone conversations in here though.

The Faculty is aware that improvements need to be made and is in the process of doing so. The building is modern and has many amenities compared to other institutions. The professors are friendly and the classes are interesting.That being said, I wish they had a stronger connection with Calgary employers. Why is the name of one of Canada's leading law firms on the library if they are just going to hire from Vancouver and Toronto? Students should be aware that obtaining employment is squarely on them and no meaningful assistance is provided here.
