Jac's Bistro
We went there for a Christmas dinner with a group of 6. The server was knowledgeable, attentive and with good sense of humour. Our drinks were served quickly, but we had to wait a good while for the food to arrive. However it was all worthwhile. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were perfect. We all shared amazing salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. The server had no problem giving us separate bills. The restaurant has great ambiance and made a long drive from the city worth it. It’s a beautiful place with charm and amazing food and service. Would go back anytime.

Reserved and enjoyed a reserved dinner for 4. Staff welcomed us with a friendly demeanour even though they were busy during the dinner rush. First table we were at was too cool due to a vent above it and so our server immediately offered us another table. Service was unhurried and refreshing since the server was very informative and knowledgeable of the menu. She delivered details on the evenings special like she cooked them. Questions asked about menu items were answered with confidence by our server and offered a substitution to a creamy pasta dish sauce without being asked when she found out my guest was lactose intolerant. From cream based to Olive Oil based pasta dish was enjoyed. The Braised Lamb Shank, Seafood Linguini and Bronzino Plate was delicious. Escargot, Grilled Squid and the Salads were a hit as starters as well. Cocktails were thirst quenching and the recommended Wine was described properly and true to what we expected based on what the server informed us with. I unfortunately did not asked our server's name but she added to an amazing evening with friends at this bistro we have not been to before. Definitely coming back!

Very nice place. The service was good, everyone was nice and there was not much of a wait for anything. Unfortunately the food was not that good. The gnocchi was overcooked, sauce was a little bland and over salted, and there was not much meat in the dish. The meat was really good though and the mashed potatoes are great. The drinks were good.

Been here twice and impressed both visits. All guests enjoyed their meals ranging from pasta, soups, steak, fish. I like the ambiance and the service is very friendly and attentive. Old school, bread on table shortly after you are seated. Parking lot nearby. Recommend. Fawn

This is the closest thing to 5 star dish! Everything on this plate was top notch, beef tenderloin with a mash potatoes, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower paired with a Chianti #PerfectionCosy little spot in Oakville, great menu…. Definitely a place to enjoy a dinner for two or with a large group.

The food was very good. I was worried that it would be expensive because of how it looked but the menu was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the tomato soup. It was lovely.

Cool restaurant - the food was good. Their fryer was broken so we couldn't get the chicken fingers for the kiddos. The white wine in the picture paired well with the seafood
