Colin Lyle was very helpful with our Family Responsibility case, keeping his focus on the children’s welfare. An agreeable compromise was reached by all parties. He is strict and will call you on any bad behaviour, making sure you understand the law and encouraging you to work towards familial harmony. I like that he didn't make grandiose promises, but kept the goal about setting up a guide for all of us to follow. Would use him again.

Since I do not do Wills & Estates and he did, I took the opportunity to “cross examine” him on a scenario many of my clients faced. Previously when I tried to prescreen other Wills & Estates lawyers, most did not understand the unique situation my clients were in and how that factored into the planning and drafting their Wills and Estates. Before I even suggested a solution that had worked for some in the past, Colin suggested some options including the same very creative resolution I have seen used in the past.
