If you are an immigrant and your health card or drivers license expired and you want to renew it then this place will give you a very hard time. They by default assume you have been living abroad and now back to use Canadian resources.I understand their point of view but what I don’t accept is why is the staff so rude. I was treated poorly and so were my parents who are very old age.Overall, just terrible service all around with lot of strong biases and presumptions about their customers.

I’d highly suggest booking an appointment prior to the visit, that way it becomes extremely easy to get things done. The considerate lady helped me update my name and address on the health card and as well as updated my driver’s license in a single go. Took only 5 minutes to get in and out.

Worst customer service experience. They have mentioned on their site that walk-ins are welcome but they won’t let you in after 11am. The security staff at the door should be more mindful and should have consistent approach to those coming without online appointment booked in advance. She asked if I booked an appointment in advance, and when I said no, she turned me away. Two minutes later, she allowed a couple and two young men to go in without an appointment before me because they lied or made some excuses to go inside which she accepted. Overall ,what I noticed if you are well prepared with a reason / excuse to get inside then you can go in otherwise if you are too polite to show your disappointment or don’t wanna lie then you have no chance.There is no value for honesty plus the staff that gave me ticket made me feel that she did a huge favour on me by doing so and she only did it because it was the only location available to handle my service request. They are not the ones providing health benefits but they act like they are the ones paying on behalf of us. The place is not too busy to turn people away.Huge disappointment!!!

I always use this service Ontario. Very organized and there's appointment available online. I had an appointment today and when I got there it was very busy. But I was in and out of it in 20 minutes and got what I wanted. The employees are also nice and knowledgeable!

I went there yesterday it was horrible experience I reached there at 8.20 am and my turn comes up at 11.10 am if you are working please take day off this location is so slow and most of CSR sit ideal and they will ask you irrelevant questions and told the indian man that I already applied online on service o radio website to change my address he didn’t accept that was showing the attitude. So unprofessional man. They need to hire youth more to speed up the process.

I was there for my health card. I had to come back for a thing that was missing but the whole experience was great 10/10. The lady who helped me was Anissa. She was very polite, professional and experienced. We need more people like her in government offices.

After reading negative reviews I really had a doubt how the experience gonna be, but safe to say, my experience in this branch has been butter smooth. The service lady at counter 5 is super friendly and nice and talking to her felt like talking to a family member. Yes, this place can be crowded and might take some time, so you have to be prepared for that. But the management and service is pretty top notch

I recently visited Service Ontario to apply for my Health Canada and had a very unpleasant experience with the staff at Window 13. I waited for 3 hours and was met with a rude and unprofessional Asian lady who seemed disinterested in providing proper customer service.She asked for documents that were not required according to the online information and questioned my letter of employment without a valid reason. When I confronted her about her behavior, she pretended to call the head office and finally told me that the letter signature was not valid.I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received and feel that the staff member at Window 13 was doing everything in her power to make my life difficult. This is not what I expected from Service Ontario and goes against the promises of providing caring and reasonable service.I would not recommend this location to anyone and caution others about the poor customer service they may receive. It is important for Service Ontario to address the unprofessional behavior of their staff and improve their customer service standards.

Wanted to share my experience with this location. Not only they treat you bad, but also provide no service based on their own reasonings. Tried going twice to renew my health card. First time, I was called up to the window, but didn’t get served until the lady stopped laughing and talking to her other coworker about something random not work related. Didn’t wanted to update my card because I didn’t have enough evidences of living at a specific address(I’m Canadian citizen). When I told her that I have to wait for a month at least to get something more in the mail with my new address, and I need my health card updated now, to which she said that I will have to wait with no health card, and decline updating my health card. Second time, I was told the wait line was 1 hour. After sitting for two hours, I wanted to ask how long it will take, to which the receptionist lady replied “you see people have been sitting here longer.” Like ma’am, I didn’t try to compete with others who was waiting longer, just a simple question because I had school and was curious if there was any point of waiting. Out of 20 something windows, only 3 or 4 were working.Went to hurontario location, and they got everything done under 15 minutes. Didn’t ask me for 100 address evidences, and helped me to update my health card, so now I can see a family doctor with no problem. Most importantly they weren’t rude at all.Never, ever go here unless you have free time and want to have a bad mood.
