Brewers Direct

For my location, their regent store is pretty convenient, they dont have the selection of their main store, but they've always had what I've been looking for. Their prices are reasonable, while the staff have always been helpful. The quality of the items they sell is top notch, parking is very accessible.

I ordered some cider kits on their site and never received them. They claim they were out of stock but I never heard from them and sat here waiting for over a month for my order. When I contacted them they claim they sent a note and a refund, both of which I never received!! However, they never actually processed the order as they money was never charged, therefore refunded! Pretty crappy customer service and business policies and I would not recommend anyone waste their time with this supplier! :(

I just drove from steinbach to the city for supplies and you aren’t open with no reason on the door or voicemail. Your hours are posted as monday -Friday 10:30 a.m. until 6p.m. and I have called with no answer. Where are you? This cost me gas and time and this is most certainly not the first time that you have been closed when you are supposed to be open. Business will go to a different location, tired or trying to be your paying customer.

I am giving you a 1 because I can’t give you a zero. I purchased a kit there that was apparently so old the Chitozan had been expired for a year. Their solution was for me to drive back into Winnipeg to pick up a package that they would give me for free. I wanted to have it sent to me because it would cost me $10.00 in gas to go there and pick up this $5.00 packet. I have been a loyal customer since 1995 and apparently customers mean ZERO to these people. Postage on a packet of chitozan is about $2.00. I who have been a customer since 1995 and make wine once a month (except when my husband was dying) and that means NOTHING to these people. DO NOT think you as a customer mean anything to them. Your money is all they care about. If something goes wrong you are on your own.

Not the best customer service and this location is closed during what is posted as regular business hours with no reason can't leave messages its to bad thos location is so Unreliable. The Sargent Ave location is great. I will no longer use this location.will no longer use the Regent store

Had an unfortunate incident with terrible customer service today so won’t ever patronize Brewers Direct again. Too bad as the Regent location was quite handy for me, but I’ll drive further to be treated better any day. Bought a Fermentasaurus from them several months ago. Finally got around to putting it together to start a new wine kit, which I also bought from them more recently. Valve on fermenter is faulty. Took the entire fermenter back to store but no longer had my receipt. Told me they couldn’t do a thing...despite having a rack piled high with them! I didn’t want a refund or even an exchange of anything other than the faulty part they sold me. But nope - store policy. Nice! They had two ways to go, as I see it. Option A: exchange the faulty part and then send it back to the manufacturer whom they obviously have a solid working relationship with as they are still selling their product, keep a happy customer and maybe pick up one or two more as a result of their helpfulness. Would have cost them nothing but a few moments of their time! OR Option B: lecture me on ‘how business works’ (I’ve been a business owner for over 25 years) then tell me to go whistle for it. So lose a long standing customer and perhaps one or two more as a result. Yep, that’s a great way to run a business.

Great store, good pricesOnly thing missing is grain. It is more of a wine making location than brewing. I usually go there for hardware.Hope they start selling grains too, because there isn't really any place to buy beer grains in Transcona or Garden city and going to other side of city is not always convenient...They have the cheapest fermenters in town by the way, 30 liter bucket with lid, perfect for my beers.

The store itself and product selection is decent, prices comparable to other places. But the Regent location has employees that really aren't very knowledgeable and don't care about service that much. I'd really only recommend going to this location if you know exactly what you want and don't need any help. If you want help with your brew, head on over to grape and grain on Osborne.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff and very friendly. Took me through the brewing process twice before sending me on my way. The people there honestly just want to show people how fun and rewarding brewing your own liquor can be!

Bought Some Festa Juice ( fresh grape Juice from this place) Festa Juice is garbage Please consider bringing Regina Grape Juice or Lodi Gold California Juice
