The food was great. I had to pay full price for a refill on my fontain pop. I was not warned about the charge. The service sucks. If you where a local person you got great attention. She walked by me meantime to talk to local people. But never asked how my meal was. Order out and seat in your car if you want experience the best part of the Restaurant.

Staff are always friendly here, I've never had any problems with the quality of the food. It's about what you'd expect from a diner like this. Service is always quick and I never have to wait long for my food

Took the family out for dinner. Had the 9 piece chicken meal, food was amazing love the gravy with fries. We also had the boneless dry ribs, think I found my new favorite snake food.Best part of it all was the service, our waitress was amazing.

I am so excited about some of the new menu items. I was just as Original Joe's and their Calamari didn't even come close, TFR has the best Calamari I have ever tasted. Fresh and flavorful, I didn't even need a dipping sauce.Definitely can't forget the pizza, fries & gravy or the homemade Caesar salad dressing and looking forward to trying more. Welcome to Thorsby Sid!!!

The restaurant is under new management and im sure that once the renovations are dobe ill give them their 5th star.The staff is great, the food was awesome with big portions.Not a fan of loud music (anywhere) which is why I gave a 4 star for the atmosphere.

I used to think that a burger from the restaurant here was the bees knees a few years ago. But with new ownership the product just isn't the same. Thought I'd get a chicken burger I used to love and the food just isn't worth the price.My girlfriend identified the fries as something from Costco and then the chicken in the burger didn't look seasoned and lacked flavour and freshness. Seemed pre cooked and frozen. Take a limp bun and add too much sauce, the burger made a mess out of itself and I ended up giving up on it.

I was at the family restaurant again today and got a take out order of two 12 inch pizzas one of them was a taco pizza with no onions and the other 12 inch was called the chefs mistake and I was there a few other times but one once a month and I order the same pizzas but sometimes a larger size and when I walked in this evening the person at the till was very friendly and even recognized me that I was in there last month only and even the staff that are working in the kitchen are always smiling and they are very personable to and will say hi and joke and even ask how your day is goin gonna when they have time between orders. And when I placed my order they told me it would a 25 minute wait and when I came back it was only 20 minutes and my two pizzas were both ready and hot to. I will always be going back to the the family restaurant in thorsby to order pizza and other food to because it is always hot and delicious and the staff is always friendly and personable to. The prices are very reasonable to and the plates of food are large portions to.

Had today's special. Fettuccine Alfredo. No seasoning at all. Added salt and pepper and was tolerable. Came with beef veggie soup. Both the meal and soup came at the same time so by the time I got to Fettuccine it was cold. Coffee was watery. Wife had taco salad. Watched the prep cook make the salad with no protection on her hands. Came with ground beef as a topping. Ground beef was burnt and hard. Lots of letuce and cheese in taco salad but again it was tasteless. No seasoning at all. Disappointed to say the least. Wait staff was there. I guess for a paycheck. Not real enthusiastic. Seeing that the restaurant business is just coming back I would expect far better. Won't be back.
