Kicks Unlimited Karate - Stoughton

Matt and Gwen Griffey demonstrated some basic karate for a group of developmentally challenged adults at our Aktion club meeting and they did a fantastic job! I have never seen this group so happy and engaged as they were with Matt. A couple of them voiced that they want to sign up with Kicks Unlimited. A big thank you to them both for the fun presentation!

We debated for a while whether or not to enroll our daughters (ages 5 & 8) in karate lessons. After finally deciding to give it a try, our only regret is not doing it sooner! Our girls are having a blast and learning so much! I can't say enough good things about the quality of instructors at Kicks Unlimited Stoughton. My husband and I both work with children on a daily basis (and know how challenging it can be at times) and we're thoroughly impressed by the positivity, enthusiasm, dedication and knowledge that these instructors provide at each and every class. We're also thrilled about having another positive male role model in our daughter's lives - Mr. Griffey is amazing!! Kicks Unlimited is a fantastic karate studio. The instructors are all great. They will challange you every day and know how to encourage you to push yourself. It is a very welcoming environment. The instructors are always happy to see you. Joining the Kicks family was such a great decision, I only wish we had joined earlier.

This has been such a great experience for our daughter. She has some vision issues and our optometrist recommended karate to help her. Her vision has improved noticeably in the first few months of us attending classes. It’s helped her motor function, confidence, and organizational skills as well. Everyone is super welcoming as well!

Kicks Unlimited has really helped me physically and mentally. The karate instructors are amazing. After every class I can't wait to go back. They have also helped me with my strength and my balance and it has really showed because my doctors have even noticed and I have only been going for maybe 2 months. I would recommend Kicks Unlimited to everyone.

Great program! I have two children (ages 5 and 8) that attend the after school program in Sun Prairie. It has been the best experience! My husband and I are thankful for this program. My children look forward to attending and especially like the karate program. Both have grown in character and maturity (as much as they can for their development). I want to thank the excellent staff at Kicks for helping my children grow and teaching them valuable character lessons to make them the best they can be!

We joined kicks unlimited because our son needed more exercise and focusing skills. (We have a very active 4 year old!) I am happy to say that he looks forward to going to class and tells us how awesome Mr. Griffy is on a daily basis. (He’s like a celebrity in our house.) He is so so great with the kids! Although he is goofy and fun, he knows how control a class of kids with the right amount of structure and sternness.When we first joined, my 4 year old was nuts, he was all over the place. He was the kid running away, doing somersaults in the corner, and always being silly.I proudly watched my child today follow along with all the sequences and forms, follow directions, and stay focused for the entire lesson. I fully believe he is learning so many new skills through these classes! I am SO HAPPY we chose kicks unlimited!Again, my child LOVES going! I truly believe that’s because of the positive environment they have created here. I encourage you to choose kicks unlimited if you’re contemplating a sport/facility for your child.

The staff is fantastic - encouraging, positive, and motivating. My daughter attends the afterschool program which includes karate lessons 2x a week. She loves all the activities and the coaches and the sense of accomplishment when she gets a new skill or a new belt. They threw her an amazing birthday party! Kicks Unlimited - Stoughton offers fun weekend events for parents to have their kids drop in to attend. Kicks Unlimited - Stoughton is very active in the community, as well, attending school fundraisers and hosting Halloween trunk-or-treat events. Every experience with them has been so positive. I highly recommend them.

My son, Sawyer, begged to join karate after Mr. Griffey visited his school. I had no prior experience or knowledge about karate, but decided to do a trial. It has been a wonderful experience for Sawyer, far exceeding my expectations. While the physical aspect is great, the increase in his confidence and the emphasis on building students' social-emotional skills is outstanding. Karate teaches the kids how to show respect, focus, and concentration. My timid child has found a confidence that I never would have expected and he is so proud of himself. The owners and their staff are encouraging and engaging, and I am would recommend Kicks Stoughton to anyone interested in learning karate!

My son's friend had a birthday party here and it was a blast... for both the kids and adults. 100% would recommend having a party here. The staff was super friendly and the facilities were clean. Thanks to the Kicks Unlimited staff!
