Viterra
Honnêtement quand mon boss me dit Viterra ca me décourage.

Very polite, helpful staff members; loaded the truck with Canola meal, even though I was a bit late. Made the day and trip work out perfect.

Super friendly security guards and the unloading pits are very quick, waiting in line typically happens just try to beat the rush and show up 15 min ahead of unload time

Your Viterra experience all depends on who is running the scale and how much French you happen to speak. Some days it’s fast and easy, other days it’s hours of sitting on the road waiting to get in. Some trucks seem to be able to go right in and dump regardless of when they show up or appointment times. They do have English in the brochure but if you need instructions beyond that, try your public school French and charades. They don’t allow pets of passengers under 16. Safety boots, vest and a hard hat are mandatory. If there is a line of trucks across the road from Viterra, they’re all waiting to get in so get in line. I think the scale is on channel 8. Once you’re on the scale you’ll see the CB channel list on the side of the scale house. After the scale, follow the map they give you to get to the probe. Wait for the thumbs up from the probe and the pits are directly in front of you. Dump through a chute or a sock to concentrate the flow in the middle. Tripping your gate will make a huge mess so don’t do it. It takes about 15 minutes to dump soy beans. Follow the map back to the scale and hopefully your day gets better after that.
