Radium Gas Plus

We had some tire issues on Sunday while on holidays. Gas Plus was recommended. The staff were professional, helpful and the price was great. Chad took the time to show us the damage on the tire and explained everything. We will be back if we are in Radium and run into more issues.

Chad was an amazing mechanic incredibly helpful we were travelling through radium when we got a flashing engine light and a lack of power. We brought our vehicle to chad at gas plus, he took us without any notice. he fixed it within an hour and half and even with driving to get the parts. Chad explained to me and showed me what was faulty and even did some preventive maintenance!!! Would 100% recommend such a good mechanic!!!!

Had to replace alternator belt for corvette on road trip. Doug got the part and replaced it for us. Fantastic service. Nice people. We were on our way within 2 hours. Highly recommend.

Despite an onslaught of anxious travellers and half his team not showing up (he was a solo act), last Sunday Greg the Mechanic somehow found the time to fix our flat tire by end of day so we could find our way home safely. A rough shift didn’t stop him from coming through for us.Thanks, Greg. On that day, you were our hero!

Aug 8 2021 - I was staying in Invermere recently and ran into some car trouble (limp mode issue). After calling around after hours on a Saturday, I found out that the Radium Gas Plus had a shop AND they were open on Sunday. On Sunday called Gas Plus and spoke with Chad. Although they were very busy that day, Chad told me to drop my car off and he'd do his best to get to it. A credit to the service, Chad not only figured out the problem that other mechanics had not but he also did multiple test drives to make sure the problem was solved. All of that for a very reasonable price. Because of Chad's extra efforts, I was able to make it home to Calgary, AB without any issues. Thank you very much Chad! I highly recommend Gas Plus in Radium to anyone having mechanical issues in the area.

Wow!! On vacation picked up a nail and slow leak in a tire. Called Gas Plus Radium and spoke to Greg. Told me to come by, took a look and did the repair. Maybe an easy fix but he took the time to get us back on the road. Price very reasonable and front of store staff very good! Great job Greg and thanks again!!

The younger guy working in the store is as rude as they come. Lied to me multiple times when I was dealing with an emergency break down with myself, another woman and a child in the vehicle. Then when I called him on it he yelled at me. When I came to get my vehicle as the mechanic was booked and I was told he wasn't, he was rude again and refused to let me even speak to the mechanic to ask a quick question. If you need assistance go somewhere else as he is as rude as they come and could use some customer service classes! Highly suggest against supporting this business! I will add, the mechanic himself is wonderful, its the owner and his son that are not.

I would like to begin my review by stating that I rarely write negative reviews about businesses. I support small business and it is not my preference to speak negatively about services however my recent encounter with the Gas Plus mechanic shop has left me utterly disappointed. What should have been a simple request for a quote turned into a petty disappointing experience, as they held our car hostage and demanded payment for work that had not yet been done.After our car broke down three hours away from Calgary, we had it towed to The Gas Plus Mechanic Shop in the hopes of receiving a fair and reasonable quote for the necessary repairs. The mechanic walked over to the car with me, gave it a listen after I topped it up with oil and confirmed the worst, it needs a new engine. This totalled max 20 minutes, if that. I asked them to get me a quote for the work, I had not yet received a quote, so I arranged to get it towed back to Calgary for my local mechanic to fix. Little did I know that I was about to encounter a shop that lacks compassion and integrity.Instead of providing me with the quote, they decided to hold our car hostage, claiming that we owed payment for the time spent quoting" and inspecting the vehicle

Fantastic place to get service. We were from Alberta and had brake issues coming into radium. It was 3 pm on a friday. The repair shop said he wasn't sure if he could get it fixed by end of day but would try. He got the part and repaired our suburban by 430. If he hadn't we would have been stranded in radium for the weekend. I was also expecting to have a higher bill to pay due to the rush to find parts last minute but his price was way less than i expected. I would totally recommend this shop.

I had some car problems while traveling through Radium I contacted Gas Plus and they got to the car as soon as possible, fixed the issue and got me on the road again. The price was lower than expected and services was friendly. Highly recommended.
