Absolutely the worst post secondary school I have ever been to! I applied for the assistant veterinary course a few months back and was given the morning schedule….. First day of school, I found out my schedule is completely different from what I was told. They made everything confusing and tried to gaslight me when I wanted to drop out even when it was all their fault!!! I have not attended any classes due to the untrustworthy behaviour of the admin staff and they have yet to refund my money back as I have requested to drop out early on. They never processed my drop out application and have been ignoring me for months! What kind of school prevents a student from dropping out and stealing their money!!!

I did my LPN diploma in CDI college Richmond. They have amazing instructors and very supportive Practical Nursing & HCA Coordinator. CDI college has excellent education program and opportunities to gain valued Canadian experience. I highly recommend this school for everyone who is willing to have quality and successful education.

CDI College
Terrible “school” They make their graduates wait forever to get their credentials so they can start working. Meanwhile the interest on their student loan continues to climb. Highly disorganized and slow to get things done. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs. Total waste of your time and money.

Our instructors are very understanding and considerate! They push each student to the best of their abilities. Anu the PN Coordinator is very friendly and thorough when teaching the whole class during open labs and her office is always accommodating for students with problems or concerns. Would recommend!

Worst decision of my life: My storyOn June 28, 2021, I began studies at CDI College Online through Surrey, British Columbia for their Veterinary Health Care Assistant Program. If all went according to plan, I would have received a diploma in approximately 40 weeks. I would have graduated on April 8, 2022. I dream of working in a veterinary clinic alongside other technicians, assistants and veterinary doctors, however, because of CDI College's inability to provide proper education and support, I am now unable to.I withdrew from my program at CDI College on August 26, 2021 due to no instruction, lack of support from instructors and technical teams, and broken course links and textbooks. CDI College was to provide the education and support and failed to do so. While I was studying, I made it very apparent to CDI that there were technical issues that needed to be fixed and they never were. I called CDI many times and there was no answer. Multiple times I demanded the contact information of a CEO or dean and CDI College refused to give me that information. CDI did not take into consideration how these technical issues were affecting my learning. I could not proceed in the course and therefore the program. I waited nearly two weeks for a new instructor to be hired after the current one suddenly quit. By the time two new instructors and a teacher's assistant were hired, course textbooks and links were still broken, so I made my final decision to withdraw from the program. After that, CDI required that I pay $6,289.19 for the amount that I had completed. I completed 6 out of 28 courses in the program, 89 out of 813 hours, which makes up to be 9.13% of the entire program. This means that, according to the Student Enrollment Agreement, CDI is only entitled to “up to 30%” of the tuition money I had paid. However, according to CDI, I attended 19% of the program which isn't the case. I couldn’t complete that amount due to the issues. I brought my concerns to CDI right away after I signed the withdrawal papers. CDI did not answer my questions. It has now been 1 year and 5 months since I have been trying to acquire the tuition funds that I am owed. CDI also broke their own Dispute Policy. CDI has been extremely unhelpful and ignores me and the questions I present to them. After withdrawing from CDI College and not receiving any sort of help from CDI College itself, I have contacted many other outside parties for help on how to deal with the matter. These parties include Better Business Bureau (CDI College ignored my response), Calgary SLA The British Columbia Ombudsman, British Columbia AEST, CBC Marketplace, and multiple lawyers in the Calgary area.On September 1, 2022, I gained the contact information for CDI College Surrey, British Columbia’s Campus Directors, Rishi Karia and Davendier Dhaliwal. I explained my situation many times and it took them over 2 months to come to a resolution that CDI College could refund me $2195.80. I accepted, and now (as of Feb 2023) CDI is withholding this money.I am extremely hurt, frustrated, angry and sad by CDI College’s wrongdoings. All I wanted was to get an education online through CDI College, receive my diploma and become a veterinary assistant. But now I have a student loan sitting on my shoulders that I have absolutely nothing to show for. Every day I think about how CDI College has done me wrong and how I can receive the tuition money back as I’m entitled to it. As I said, it has been over a year since I have been dealing with this issue and still no resolution. CDI College promised me great education to set me up in life but they are doing the opposite of that. I had paid for the education and CDI College failed to provide it to me.If you are thinking of enrolling in CDI College I recommend you take your time and money elsewhere. I have never been so dissatisfied with a company in my life and that says a lot. CDI College should be shut down. They don’t care about your well-being, or your education—as long as they are getting paid it’s okay right? Wrong. This ends now.

I started the EA program in July 2019 and was really excited to start fresh for a new career. My overall experience at CDI College was stressful - not only because of COVID-19, but also because the staff seemed very unprofessional. Over the period of my entire course, we had at least 5 instructors come and go. This not only disrupted the course, but also left most students feeling confused (including me). For a short period of time, we had no instructor at all.In addition, the campus director would change often. Whenever I took my concerns or complains to the director, I felt no action was taken and I saw no results. Furthermore, a lot of times, the students had to REMIND the program coordinator/planner of the upcoming workshops that were mandatory for EA students to attend. I felt things were done so last minute, that it was almost humiliating when one time at a workshop we found out that our names were not even registered or submitted on time. From the planning of programs to receiving textbooks, students always had to advocate for themselves and constantly make rounds to the office to get things done.It does state that both elementary and secondary school practicum opportunities are given to a student, but unfortunately I received only secondary school experience for both my practicums. So basically, I graduated with no elementary school experience.I really do hope CDI works on these issues and hires staff that are long-term, more professional and have some past experience in the related field.

CDI college is amazing to support your study. I did prerequisites of Biology 12 and anatomy and physiology here. We had wonderful teacher: Dr Edgar who was a retired Doctor. He is very knowledgeable and he is the best teacher I ever met: stimulating our thinking, motivating us to further study for the contents we discussed in the class. We just want to study and study. His teaching style is thought-provoking and humorous. We had huge fun in his class. The LPN program we started now for 2 months. Each quiz and exams we took are all preparing students for the board exam. The teachers are knowledgeable. Anu and Coco are wonderful teachers. They not only teach you the knowledge and skills a future nurse should be prepared for, but also teach us the right attitudes and values a good nurse should have. The class is very interactive. CDI Richmond College is a small community, because it is small, so teachers and students know each other well, we help each other and support each other.
