Excellent trainer. She is very kind and helpful. She really helped me to bring my rescue dog out of its shell and to walk better beside me on the leashis a good skill for them to learn for safety reasons. She teaches the importance of using collars and devices that don’t hurt the dog. Her technique uses correction that are safe and pain free and uses treats as rewards and lots of praise and it makes it a fun experience for the dog and owner. If you are struggling in an area she will take the time to work with you one on one to get things right and provides written explanations in her course and is always happy to answer email or phone questions. I highly recommend this excellent trainer.

Shelley trained us on all things needed to take care of our new 9 week old Pomsky, Koda.She was extremely thorough, meticulous, tremendously helpful and funny. Shelley is awesome. We had her over to our place for a single one on one training session with our German Shepherd puppy and we will be graduating her 7 week program tonight.She has the heart of a teacher/trainer and that comes through time and time again. Shelley really knows what she's doing and does well with all dogs (and their owners) in a group setting. She has a good/dry sense of humour which helps lighten the mood and make the lessons enjoyable. She has been very helpful in giving some good tips and tricks for helping train my monster golden doodle Yoda (65 lbs) who she's nicknamed Clifford lol

Have used Shelley for large group classes within the community, she has a great sense of humor and professionalism that allows everyone to relax and get the best out of her classes. I have been asked year after year by community members to bring her back, her classes are extremely popular as everyone enjoys benefiting from over 16yrs of her expertise.
