Great movie theater experience for very good value. Two things though. Make sure you ask for fresh popped popcorn as we got what seemed to be popcorn from day before. Also please for just a bit more investment, add real butter to your offering, butter flavored topping sucks.

I've been here a couple of times and had mixed feelings.You really can't beat $5 a ticket, and the snacks aren't priced all that bad either.The theaters themselves are decent. Obviously not the same as a big chain like cineplex, but I like supporting local establishments.I came for an evening movie with my wife and there seemed to be some problems. After 5 minutes past 9pm (when our film was scheduled to begin), they advised of technical problems and said it would be 5 more minutes maximum. At 40 minutes past 9pm, they told us we would need to switch to a different screening room to watch our movie.Halfway through watching the movie, a group of teens entered the theater and started yelling, and one threw a bag of popcorn across the theater and almost hit a group of patrons watching the movie. 20 minutes later, they came back and started screaming in the room and ran away.I like the idea of this cinema. However, I feel like it may benefit by having a bit more staff presence near the actual cinemas to stop the riff raff from coming in and causing trouble.

Good small cinema. Very affordable tickets! They use most of old movies and movies which was released 3-4 month ago. So what is why tickets very affordable. Party room available also.

Amazing theatre. I only ever come here. The dirty sofas are amazing and the previews are all local and make it so much better. They even show the employees of the month on the previews! I come here all the time. Movie ticket, popcorn and a large fun drink for only $15!!

So I went here a little while ago to see film with a family member and it is kinda a get what you pay for situation. If you are fully aware that 5$ is pretty cheap for a movie ticket then you should also be aware that it won't be the most amazing theatre you have ever been too. That being said, there isn't really much to complain about. The staff are fantastic, the bathrooms are decent and the actual cinema rooms are ok. The screen size isn't bad and the chairs are a little old but still comfy. The cinema rooms themselves vary. Some are nicer than others. The nice ones are clean and comfy, while the other ones have a slight bit of what looks to be water damage as well as ceiling panels removed. All in all not bad for 5$ though, a fun simple time if you're close to it and and want something to do. 7/10

The best cinema experience in Calgary!Positive employee interactions, more popcorn than what you pay for, and the most affordable tickets!The image quality is good, the audio quality is a 4/5, and the seats could be a bit better, but this is better than expected considering the tickets cost only $5.Won't be going to any other movie theater, others overcharge; this one is a small business that is worth supporting!

Yara is an amazing employee. My son and I were super indecisive in what we wanted to get. Yara was super patient with us and helped get what we wanted. She made this very yummy drink (strawberry, watermelon, vanilla and sprite with a splash of cream) 10/10 it tasted sooo yummy. I highly recommend it. Good job Yara on your customer service skills and making us our yummy drink

It was my first time going to Canyon Meadows Cinema. It has an old school charm to it, which was refreshing. The ticket price is great and the food and beverage is reasonable (still theatre pricing, but I cannot blame them. Gotta make that some money!)There are tons of food and beverage options. Looking at some of the posters around they seem to have different types of events and specials going on too, which is nice. I got a large popcorn and it was HUGE (they overfilled it too).The theatres are a good size and the movie experience was good. I like that they have a mixture of newer movies and older ones. I definitely will be back with my family.
