TravelSafe Travel Clinic in Vancouver

Hi I want to thank the travel safe clinic .. especially Penny Gleave RN who has expertise in travel medicine . She took care of me in 2018When I went to Africa and then again when my mother and I were going to go but Covid hit so it got cancelled .We are finally now going to make this trip with my almost 90 year old mother to Tanzania . It came up quickly and Penny arranged a consultation and vaccinations in 5 days !!!This clinic has outstanding service I recommend anyone travelling to call this clinic .. they are the best !!!!! Highly recommended! We were not sure what vaccines were required for our trip to Southeast Asia but the TravelSafe team helped us beyond our expectations.Our destinations were Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Our nurse (Kim) was very informative and addressed all potential risks, reviewed our vaccination records and gave us many tips on how to prepare for our trip.Everything was sorted in one appointment, and the entire visit was simple, fast and very informative, prices were actually pretty good compared to other places, and we really felt like we were taken care of.I would just advise contacting them in advance as you may need shots that need more than one dose before your trip.

Wow, such excellent service and care! I had a phone consult from Australia, as we changed our travel plans mid-trip. Penny was so helpful, provided written info as well as spent time teaching and explaining travel health risks to be aware of. Top-notch service. I highly recommend.

100% recommend TravelSafe clinic! I received a covid test about a week ago and the process was efficient, painless, and very professional. I’ve also received travel vaccines from TravelSafe and they always make you feel so comfortable and welcome. I definitely recommend going here if you aren’t the biggest fan of needles!!

I was more than impressed with the service at this clinic. I have been to other travel clinics, and by far, this one has been the most helpful and supportive. My initial consultation was great. But once I got home, I realized I had a few follow up questions related to a specific issue I was quite concerned about. I emailed them, thinking I would be asked to come in again and pay for another visit. To my surprise, Penny, Kristin and Wendy all went above and beyond, settled my concerns without having to come into their office again. Highly recommend!!!

Having just returned from a month in Peru, top marks go to Penny and the team at TravelSafe! A friend recommended I go to the clinic and now I see why. The quality of service was outstanding from consultation through to immunizations and prescriptions. What a great experience. Very informative and friendly! Everything for my holiday was sorted. We were greeted and promptly attended by the practitioner. They were very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. They worked with us to figure out exactly what we needed for our three month voyage, and gave us relevant literature to read to further educate ourselves on various subjects.They also prescribed our specific travel medications, requisitioned some blood work to check our immunity levels, and administered the first round of required vaccines. It was a full service visit and we are very pleased with everything about it. Thank you!

I visited Travesafe to prepare for my trip to Southeast Asia. I was impressed by the helpful person who booked my appointment. At the consultation with the nurse, my itinerary was reviewed and the health risks were explained to me so I knew how to avoid health issues while I was travelling. I also received resources to refer to after my appointment. The nurse was obviously very experienced and knowledgeable and I knew I was in good hands. I was surprised how much I learned. I didn’t need as many vaccines as I anticipated because I had received travel vaccinations previously. And I didn’t feel pressure to get more vaccines than I needed. The clinic organized my travel prescriptions for me to pick up at my pharmacy. I left the clinic confident knowing I was prepared for my trip and my trip was stress free. I highly recommend this clinic from beginning to end. They are knowledgeable and they made it easy for me.

This travel clinic became my regular stop before planning any bigger trip abroad. Pricing is in the middle range but totally worth it, they review your entire itinerary and are very informative and can sort you out with all vaccines, tests, paperwork, etc.Most importantly it is just pleasure to talk to them about travel (previously I visited them when preparing for Asia and now for summer trip to Europe) you can see that they are also travellers and genuinely care about your health.
