Hakka No.1 Restaurant
I visited this place to pick up an online order. The order was ready at the time of my arrival which was cool. The place doesn’t seem to be impressive. I’m not sure if the signage design was created by a branding firm. It doesn’t seem to be from my perspective. I was reading some of the negative comments and I was shocked by one review indicating there was a band aid on his food. That sounds scary.

The staff was friendly and service was good. The food was good portion and generous. The family combos is cheap and wallet friendly. We order the family of 6 and had many left over food that we took home after. The parking is small, hard to find parking. I will probably come back.

We went for dine in and also ordered some food to go. The food was good for dine in. But for the takeout we ordered house special noodles and they gave us the wrong order (not so surprisingly the takeout order took around 2 minutes from when we ordered to when it came to our table). The take out was not fresh.I would avoid takeout from this place

Food is amazing and the price is fair. I find if you eat in you get more food. I had fried chicken wings and fried rice with chicken on top. With sweet and sour sauce.Out of 5Wings 3.5Meal 4.5Sauce 5

Fair for the price with quantity and quality. For the area around here, they are pretty cheap. Place is clean and decent seating arrangements. Quickly serving capabilities since they probably have it ready all the time. So a good quick stop by for the price.

I went to this location twice now, and it was great and fast service with a friendly smile we had our dinner fast. Food portions was good for the price , we had chicken noodles soups it was decent not much can be said it my taste buds wasnt dancing or nothing lol, we also had chicken curry and fry rice with roast chicken. That taste was ok however chicken was very very dry almost impossible to taste the flavor. Chicken curry was a sauce rather than an authentic curry but it wasn't bad the meat was deep fried chicken with flavor which was disappointing sinse chicken curry should have proper chicken hench the name 'HAKKA restaurant serving authentic Chinese and Indian dish. I have notice the two times I went here most people was having take out rather than dining in we were the only ones both time that was dining in there atmosphere and ambience needs some work."

I consider myself to be a Chinese food connoisseur. This place out does any other Chinese restaurant in Toronto. The food and portion sizes alone are 5 stars. The timely service and friendly staff are 5 stars as well. Whether it’s take out or delivery they always make sure the order is made and presented to perfection. The staff even let my friend and I dine in and enjoy our meal when it was really close to closing time. I will always be loyal to here.

I Ordered hot and sour soup and ginger chicken. Price was ok for the lunch menu, the soup was good, however the main dish was pretty terrible. So sweet that it make my tongue numb. More then that the rice the worst rice I ever taste, it taste like the rice was defrost and added water to make it soft again. Never taste the rice as bad as this. I would not go there again.
