Oxford Mews Town Homes

I am currently renting at this location and am completely dissatisfied with the condition on my rental unit. Due to Covid 19 I was unable to view the unit before renting as I was moving from New Brunswick back to Edmonton and I was not authorised to do so by my employer. We arrived signed our lease agreement and went to the unit with the gentlemen from the moving company. The first thing all of us noticed was the overpowering stench of cat urine as soon as we opened the door. Oxford mews claims the unit was cleaned but within 10 minutes my wife had found 4 cat urine spots on the carpet dried urine on the linoleum at the base of the stairs and a large amount of dry urine under the basement stairs. Further to this none of the carpets had been vacuumed or cleaned as there is still dog/cat/human hair along all of the edges of the carpet and nothing other than the appliances had been sanitised disinfected or in some cases even wiped down(my wife has spent all day cleaning grease oil and other debris out of the kitchen cupboards) needles to say oxford mews refuses to take any kind of responsibility to even help with the issues. Im now out 250$ in cleaning products not counting the carpet cleaner I will have to rent to try to get the cat piss out of the carpets. If I could give them a 0 star review I would for their complete lack of integrity. All they care about is taking your hard earned money and leaving you with the bill. I just moved in and I cant wait for my lease to be up so I can leave.

On our second year here and both my girlfriend and myself love it, nice units, family oriented community, any maintenance issues have been dealt with in a timely manner and the staff are very friendly :) plus 25% discount on TELUS or Shaw services is a plus :) would definitely recommend to others.

It my home now for 19 years I'm happy with how I'm treated here .no problems getting anything I call and it's done within 24 hrs the staffs are professional and respectful the only sadness is that as a senior my rent now is getting to high and eventually I will have to move

The area is nice, had some foreseeable concerns about renters leaving and wanted to see our options and called the front desk. After asking what options we had they said they would sue us for not paying? Even though we are and had no intentions of not paying? Basically waiting for the lease to run up and find somewhere better.

I’ve lived here since 2005. The office staff are always polite to my family members. I’ve found the maintenance team to be professional and polite.

We have lived here for several years and when I require maintenance the property office is always very friendly, and prompt to send the maintenance people when required. The maintenance people we have had come to our unit are respectful and do there job in a timely matter.

A BIG ZERO for the Cheating Master !Stay away from Urban life / Oxford Mews. Extremely Dishonest and will cheat to take your money.We were renting a townhouse at oxford Mews, and while doing the Move out inspection, we agreed with the concierge for a 400$ cleaning charges, she ended taking almost 900$, pretending that the painter decided to paint the entire house, she's probably getting money from him..I am not surprised they are never able to rent all their units.Stay away! You'll find a better house elsewhere,

My husband, our two children and I lived here from 2017-2020. We loved it. The office ladies were super sweet and kind, and the maintenance was always swift when needed. We loved the community and highly recommend renting here to any young families

I lived here a while back and now have friends that live here. The units are nice and there is a lot of kids in the complex if you have a young family. listening to friends that live here the management could still use some work. Also the rent price could be better but it's not the worst for a 3 bedroom townhome. Also don't try to change a flat tire in your parking space. you'll get an official warning about not being allowed to work on your car in your stall.
