Chilli Chutney Street Kitchen
I used to frequent the Chilli Chutney restaurant in Brandon when I still lived there, and fell in love with them. If you like East Indian food, this is a safe bet, as they have a fairly wide range of dishes and offerings, and everything I've had here tastes delicious. I tried out the food here at the new Winnipeg location after they opened and it was every bit as wonderful as I remembered. I will say that I've only ordered take-out from here so far, and don't have much feedback on the dine-in experience, but the staff at the pickup counter were very kind and made sure to confirm everything in the order before leaving. Please give them a shot if you haven't yet! (Love the vegetable korma <3)

Our first time at C-Chutney a new Indian restaurant in our area. I couldn't help but notice how clean the restaurant was when we walked in. We are not very familiar with Indian food so we decided to try the buffet. We had a good selection of main and side dishes to try. The food was fresh, flavourful and not too spicy. The Butter Chicken" was exceptionally good and better than I have had elsewhere. The 4 people in our group all enjoyed the food. The service staff was exceptional

My partner and I had a rather disappointing experience. I shall preface this review by stating that it was very busy when we were there, being Father's Day. Although they had a large number of staff, I suspect that there was a lot of inexperience, given that the restaurant had recently just opened for business.Food: overall, we found the food on the buffet to be quite bland. The selection was fairly diverse, however the flavours were not. There was no evidence of any heat in any of the dishes. When I asked about obtaining some hot sauce (twice, as I think they forgot about me the first time), I was offered some Tabasco from the bar.Signage on the buffet items was inconsistent, with some mystery liquids in dispensers at one end of the buffet. On a positive note, the signs that were present did indicate if Gluten Free.Restaurant: although the restaurant looks pleasant enough, the condition of the buffet area was rather messy and unattended. Again, it was a very busy day, but perhaps someone attending to the buffet more attentively could have helped.Communication: when I had called that day to enquire about Gluten free options, I also asked about the buffet price. I was told $20, however, when I received the bill , I believe it was closer to $30 per person. Perhaps because it was a special Father's Day buffet? I appreciate that the restaurant did reach out to me via Google reviews to address my initial 2 star review. However, after calling twice to leave my feedback, I have yet to receive a call back.

Chilli Chutney, had a lot to carry since it has been highly rated in Brandon. But well it lives up to its hype since moving to Winnipeg. It is a great addition to our showcase of Indian Restaurants. Beginning with the ambience, we'll since the location used to be Tony Roma's the dinning space is huge and thus, there is no wait time, it is highly busy so that's a good thing. The food we tried Kacchori, Hakka Noodles. Kacchori was just so delicious. The hakka was a bit lacking in sauces but was close to perfection the way noodles were cooked. The main course, all the different sabjis from Kofta, Paneer and Dal Makhani ( so buttery) everything was just perfect. They do provide complimentary rice with the makhani. As for there bread selection, their mozzarella cheese Naan was just the perfect blend of cheese and the dough. Lacha paratha was also cooked to perfection. Also, had a taste of their vada pav the best in the city heads down. Also, tried their tea perfect blend of tea and spices. And the best thing of it all the prices, all this cost us 120 bucks and which is a reasonable price for so much of this food. Would like to go again to try their buffet which I have heard good things about. A must try.

My wife and I have been to Chilli Chutney in Winnipeg a few times now for dinner. Each time we have been there the entire experience has been excellent.The restaurant has a very nice decor and the staff who are all very nicely dressed in uniforms are all so very friendly and professional.Of course we can’t forget the food which was definitely the best part. We only had the buffet each time but it was excellent each time we were there. There were lots of choices and each item was very fresh with such a great aroma and tasted so wonderful. Naan bread was also brought to our table included in the buffet price.We will definitely be back many more times and will try ordering off the menu.I highly recommend giving Chilli Chutney a try, and if you’re ever in Brandon be sure to support their location there as well, I know that I will!!!!!

Delightful experience at Chilli Chutney! Our server Isha was well versed, well experienced, and very attentive. I've had such a good meal after a long time. We had highway chicken tikka, masala papad for appetizers, garlic naan, cheese naan with goat curry for the mains. The curry comes with rice by default.Then cherry on top was the Pani Puri. To be honest, it was way better than what I had expected.Overall, it's a great fine dine restaurant. Ambiance 10/10Service 10/10Food 10/10

Probably the best East Indian food we have had in Winnipeg. We ordered takeout and the food was ready on time and well packaged.I guess they have priced themselves a little cheaper as they start out in Winnipeg, and I ain’t complaining about that. Great little place, hopefully they keep up the quality and cleanliness as they ramp up .

had ordered kaju curry from doordash guess what? I found no cashew in it. Instead there was chickpea flour made fake cashew put into it. I am amazed how you are goofing around people who know exactly what that food is supposed to be. You can see in the photo I could crush those fake cashews easily and there was no taste of cashews in it.

Lot of work needs to be done at the service part. The service is super slow. Although you see multiple servers roaming around doing nothing. Food & ambiance was excellent. Buffet can be better though (add more dishes not just 1 paneer dish) Overall a neutral experience. Thanks
