Desi helped me to be able to take my dog everywhere. I just needed to learn confidence in how to handle and communicate with my dog. Over time my dog was able to make friends with others and go on hikes. Desi puts the safety of the dogs first so I’m very comfortable having her take him out. I also appreciate her honesty about how much I can expect, as far as socializing my dog and his limitations. I don’t know what I’d do if I hadn’t found her.

Desi helped us with our anxious, high energy Australian Shepherd pup when we first moved to Squamish. We started off with her helping with his reactivity to other dogs, and he has continued to go on weekly pack walks since. He is now friendly on and off leash wherever we go! We are so grateful for all the time Desi has spent with us and our boy, Blue!

Desi is an exceptional person who has the gift of understanding what our dogs needs and wants are, and is able to translate to us humans :) She helped us by coming to our home to lay out expected boundaries and had all my kids involved in training. She gave us clear guidelines of what was needed to remedy our issues and what to expect moving forward. Our dog Bernie was transformed after going to school with Desi and is able to go on off leash hikes because of his recall. Thank you Desi for helping us show Bernie the backcountry in Squamish.

Our dog, Leo, started working with Desi when he was less than 6 months old (he is now 2 years old) , and the training that he has received has been incredible. Desi has a special gift with dogs and clearly has an innate ability to help dogs with whatever behaviour challenges they are facing. We have worked with Desi for 1:1 training at our home and in the community, and Leo (and our family) has learned so much. His behaviour in our home, as well as on walks, to/from the school grounds, and around town has vastly improved with her help. He also attends weekly group training/hikes with Desi, and thoroughly enjoys it and has made great strides while working with her! Desi is so lovely to be around whether you are a human or a dog! Desi took over the training of our Shiba Inu 3 years ago and has done an amazing job. She has the unbelievable ability to read your dog and apply the right techniques to help them be the perfect companion. She has also helped us become better dog owners ensuring we provide positive reinforcement with him and the right tools needed to fit in with our cats. Desi is so knowledgeable and friendly, she always has a smile on her face!!!

Desi came into our lives when we adopted a 16 week old Dutch shepherd. She worked with him from 16 weeks until he was 7 months old when he unfortunately passed away from kidney disease. She was the most caring and compassionate dog lover I’ve ever met. She now works with my white German Shepherd who absolutely loves her. As soon as you say her name her ears perk up and she sits by the front door waiting to spend the day with her. Desi’s love for animals shows and her knowledge and training skills are beyond what we expected. Our German shepherd is smart and loving because of her time spent with Desi

My blue heeler pup, Pirate, and I started working with Desi from when he was about 4 months old. I knew having a such a smart string willed breed would need great training and that is exactly what we got with Desi. She knew exactly what he needed to become a well-behaved, respectful dog. She was great at working with me to maintain his training at home, training me as well as she trained him. As my pup's sole human adult I really appreciated (and needed) the support I got from her.She clearly cared dearly for my pup and has kept in touch to ensure our success is ongoing (ie I'm not slacking on his training lol).I have a pup who is a joy to have around...
