Halibut King Fish&Chips
I wanted to grab a quick bite. Saw this place while driving by and decided to stop in. I definitely was not disappointed. This is a hidden gem in Whitby. One of the best fish n chips I have had in a long time. Will definitely be back when I am in the area

Halibut King Fish&Chips
Went in for some Sunday all day breakfast on Father’s Day. Ordered 2 breakfast meals, and an order of pancakes.Took about 30 minutes to receive anything. Once the food arrived the whole order was wrong. Snotty eggs, Raw bacon, burnt toast, missing pancakes, no butter, syrup or utensils. Complete botch.Won’t be back.

I work around the corner & thought I would try it on my half hour lunch . I mentioned I only get half an hour but still did not count getting it on time to eat much . The lady at the till made sure I got it soooo fast. The portions were huge & although made fast it was well cooked & tasty . She also gave me enough condiments & tartar . Very happy & I will be going here often in the future

I asked for the Chicken Dinner plate. The server didn't understand me and put Chicken Fingers twice. The cook came up and I said I wanted the Chicken Dinner with Roasted Potatoes but I was told it comes with fries even though on their signage it says that it comes with roasted potatoes or mash potatoes. I just agreed and said fries are okay. I get my order which was still wrong. $18 for chicken fingers? Way too expensive. I went back and said my order was wrong, I was not giving any attitude. I simply just wanted a different order. The cook, not even wearing an apron the whole time, got extremely defensive, pointing fingers telling me what I got is what I asked for, which it wasn't. The cook then angrily offered to make what I actually wanted. I appreciate the server apologizing but I most definitely will not be going back due to the fragile and easily angered cook.

Halibut King Fish&Chips
We ordered Halibut King Fish & Chips this evening for dinner, and we weren’t disappointed. I had the double halibut fish and chips, and my wife had the chicken fingers and chips. Food was tasty and plentiful. Nice light and crisp batter on generous filets of halibut. Prices were fair, and service was quick and courteous. We will definitely be back!

Decent fishnchips, large serving sizes and great customer service. Indoor interior is also nice, which made me tempted to eat inside. I would recommend checking out this place as it has some great deals.

We happened to visit this restaurant by random. It was because we just wanted to take our mom out for a walk. So, we drove around half an hour from Markham to Whitby. While touring around that city, we wanted to have afternoon tea. Therefore, we searched the Google map if any fish and chips restaurant were located nearby. It was under this situation that we chose this restaurant.To our surprise, when we stepped into this restaurant, not one customer was found. Originally, we thought we had chosen a wrong one. However, its service was exceptionly good. For instance, our mom wanted to eat ice-cream, but we couldn't find in its menu. At first, the server was hesitasted about taking this order. After a short while, she came to us again and said yes. My mom was very happy about it. We then ordered 2 additional meals, namely its special offer of the day as well as one set of French toast. First of all, the Special included one large piece of fish and chips. It was freshly made, crispy, tasty and enough for 3 persons. Second, its French toast is also hot and baked up to the point. For us, it was especially delicious after adding a few drops of orange juice. Generally, we were highly satisfied at its food and service. At last, it costs us only a little more than $30 including 3 drinks and tax. Its value is much more than its price. This restaurant is sure a must-go place if you visit Whitby and want some tasty light meals to fill your stomach.

Halibut King Fish&Chips
Came here the other day with my dad, we got the special (I can't remember exactly what we got) but what I do know is that it was absolute delicious and the size of the fish I couldn't believe! Great deal, nice staff. Can't wait to come back. Im not even big on fish and chips but it was so good I'm looking forward to my next visit
