First Chapter Ceremonies

Shannon is an absolute joy to work with! She was extremely helpful and attentive and did a lot for us to be able to enjoy our special day! She is beyond sweet and ugh theres just not enough nice things to say about her! You couldnt go wrong with hiring her to be a part of your special day

Met Shannon at the Wonderful Wedding Show and I never looked back! My husband and I had a loooooot of requests for our wedding ceremony and Shannon guided us through and really customized our wedding to match mine and my husband’s personalities and expectations! On the day of our wedding, it started raining and she, alongside our venue coordinator, made it possible so we could have an indoor ceremony instead of our expected outdoor event and everything came out beautiful!Shannon is kind and calm under pressure and funny so we were at ease! I really recommend her services!

My partner and I had no idea where to start when it came to figuring out the actual ceremony part of our wedding. Based on a friend’s recommendation I reached out to Shannon and I’m so happy we did. Beyond the fact that we wanted the shortest ceremony possible and didn’t want it to be too religious but not strictly secular either while also being super inclusive (because that doesn’t sound like a tall order at all) we didn’t know what we wanted. With Shannon’s guidance we ended up with a beautiful ceremony that was totally us and totally short, with a perfect balance of humour and sentiment that reflects mine and my partner’s relationship. What makes this even more impressive to me is that we did it all over Zoom (thanks Covid!). Shannon was so warm and friendly from the beginning I didn’t even realize until I thought about it later that the first time we actually met was the wedding day! Eleven out of ten would recommend.

Shannon was almost as excited about our wedding as we were. She helped us create a ceremony from scratch that was not only beautiful, but so authentic to who we are as people. Shannon helped to make our day really feel like ours. It was a pleasure to work with someone so enthusiastic and passionate about their work.

I met Shannon the day my bestfriend married his beautiful lady. It was a beautiful bard yard setting, couldn't have been more perfect. I loved how the ceremony went, it was nice and sweet. Meeting Shannon, she seemed to be a wonderful lady and I knew then I needed to start my wedding journey. I booked her immediately and was not disappointed!!! I was a horrible bride for having a schedule and keeping Shannon in the loop was one of those things that got away from me. As I got to my venue, we were able to brief and away Shannon went. Someone had recommended Shannon to officiate our wedding. She was amazing to work with and very accommodating to the uncertainties of Covid restrictions. We chose to do a personalized ceremony and Shannon was able to include all aspects that were important to both my husband and I and our families. Overall we are so happy we went with First Chapter Weddings and I definitely would recommend her to anyone planning to get married!
