Jag’s Bistro
Rarely do I find food of this calibre this good. By pure accident this food establishment fell into our view only last week, since then we have had 2 take outs, both were simply fantastic, the ingredients were of the highest and the food when plated up, was some of the very best I have ever tasted. I can think of only a handful of food outlets which I have used which, have been of this quality. If your wanting good Indian food, cooked well and presented in an equal manner. I would add the contact details of this jewel of a restaurant, and make it a regular place if you want food this good.

Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and it was awesome! I had Indian and my wife had Italian and both were delicious! The chef came out to talk to us and he was super kind and friendly. We will definitely be coming back!

I gave Jags Bistro a try tonight for dinner. I work close by and I’m sure glad I did. This is honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had.Jag was very kind in helping me pick the Indian dishes and I can hardly to try some Italian. I will be letting all of my friends know about this new Restaurant for sure :)

The food was really extraordinary. Totally fresh, well seasoned, and decent portions of food. I was really blown away by this place. The owner of the place is very friendly and he approached us to ask us how our food was. He recommended the desserts of the day, but my boyfriend and I ordered so much food that it was very sad not to have more space to try the desserts.

Absolutely delicious! Beautifully presented food, served piping hot, maximum flavor and cooked to my desired spice level. Atmosphere is fine, just a basic set up - but honestly the food makes up for any lack in atmosphere. I would come back and get take out or more for leftovers.We had butter chicken, chana masala, daal, and veggie pakoras for a starter. We had lots of leftover too. The rice is easily the most fluffy basmati rice I’ve had before, and the garlic butter naan is fresh and tender.Highly recommend!

Great food but no parking space. I spoke with the owner, he was very apologetic, and also mentioned that it is the surrounding store’s employees that are taking up the parking spaces.

My first time trying this place through Skip, really delicious curry, generous portions. My husband loves spicy food and they delivered on that request! I’m excited to try more of the menu.

We tried Jags Bistro tonight for the first time, the food and service was amazing! My friend ordered the fish pakora to start, I tasted it and it was sooo good! I had the coconut Naan, this is my go to at any Indian restaurant and this was the best I have ever had! My entree was the lobster and crab ravioli, the pasta I could tell immediately was home made, the sauce was made with grape tomatoes, and I was pleasantly surprised to get 3 large sautéed prawns on top of it as well! It was amazing!The menu is very large, so many choices and we will definitely go back to try more, the fusions are really intriguing.Oh! And the Chai tea was to die for!!Definitely a 10/10.

We ate there 2 weeks ago. The chef candidly admitted, he's not a business person, but he truly cares about the customer experience. The food was phenomenal. I told him, advertising yourself as an Italian/Indian cuisine is going to be shunned. He explained, he was trained both in high level indian kitchens as well as high level italian kitchens in downtown Vancouver. We tested him. We ordered appetizers in Italian (they were great) and got entrees in Indian Cuisine (also great) -- it was at that time he admitted, he self-grinds spices. Buys his italian ingredients from Bosa Foods and knows what Fior di Mozzarella is (and he uses it). If you want a new place to try, and your tongue to be tantalized by something new, refreshing and deep rooted into honest italian or indian cuisine, give it a try. You will not be disappointed. Oh, if you enjoy chicken pakora, he has his own signature take on it. Extremely flavorful. We'd totally get that again.

Delicious! The portions were huge, and the taste & quality exceeded our expectations for both vegetarian and meat eaters. We'll be ordering again (most likely tomorrow) for sure!
