Alcona and Innisfil peeps - Check out Moon Cafe & Craft Beer on Innisfil Beach Road. Owners Adam and Jess are super and they're always bringing in new craft beers for sampling! Pet friendly location too!

I just discovered this place on Maps and decided to check it out. It's small and cozy. The owners are very friendly and warm, making you feel welcomed. They sell breakfast or tea-time type of baked goods: scones, muffins, bagels, etc. For the bagels, you can get it buttered or with Philadelphia regular cream cheese. The cafe drinks they have are the standard ones: coffee, tea, latte, cappuccino, espresso. They have vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel as flavours which you can add for $0.50 to your drink.I imagine their biggest draw is the craft beer side of the business. They have a fridge when you walk in with a chalk board in front listing what's in the fridge. As I don't drink, I didn't check out the craft beers, but I think it's really great that a local mom and pop type shop is offering craft beer that I imagine is local as well.I gave 4 stars because the only thing I was disappointed with was the taste of the food. I got a buttered cheese bagel with a regular size hazelnut latte. (There are only small and regular sizes.) The quality of the food was good but the taste wasn't worth the price in my opinion. Specifically, the bagel tasted like it barely had any butter. The bagel also wasn't cut in half vertically, only horizontally, and didn't have a hole in the middle. Those are minor and didn't bother me as much as the lack of butter. It tasted like the amount I might use at home if I'm trying to be frugal. The latte eventually became good but didn't start out that way. Firstly, when I received the cup, it felt like it was an almost empty cup. Once I removed the lid, I realized there was maybe about a quarter cup of foam, despite my getting a latte and not a cappuccino. The foam also only came up to three-quarters of the cup. That means only about half the cup had actual liquid in it! Finally, I didn't taste the hazelnut syrup until the very end. While it might seem obvious that I should've stirred it first, for me, that's something the store should do so if I start drinking right away, I get a stirred drink.First impressions count a lot, and as much as I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly owners, I'm not sure I want to go back. My two items cost almost $8 after tax and I personally don't feel what I ingested was worth it. However, your mileage may vary, so I would suggest giving them a try.

Have only had gluten free brownies and coffee. Driveway needs grading as big puddles form.

A fantastic community focused craft beer venue in Innisfil. Kids and pets welcome in this family first bar. Awesome rotating craft beers and baked goods from the local bakery. Nice patio that overlooks the community garden. Plenty of yard games available for entertaining both kids and adults alike! Definitely worth stopping by for a pint, some takeaway beers and some cute gifts to take home.

Was pleasantly surprised when I first visited this place. Inside is super cute and cozy, they even have a thoughtful baby area to keep your little ones busy while you enjoy a drink. Owners did a great job utilizing this space!! Great beer selection and awesome community engagement with daily things and events happening. Having food trucks is a fantastic idea! Well done.
