Not a bad place. We went there for the trad, but was difficult to hear the music.Food was good, cocktails were delish but very slow service. Menu was limited with some items not available. One server gave us a very disgusted look when she saw us. Couldn't help but feel a bit bad when I saw that. Oh, and they didn't have Taytos. Pretty shocking that an Irish pub didn't have Taytos.But, the food was yummy the music was good so ya, I'll be back. However; please no more disgusted look from the server.

It was a delightful accident, as I had initially planned to meet a friend at another restaurant. However, I couldn't be happier with the outcome, as the establishment exceeded all expectations and won me over with its warm atmosphere, exceptional service, and authentic Irish charm.Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by a beautiful waitress who immediately made me feel welcome. Her genuine hospitality was the epitome of the Irish warmth and friendliness that I had heard so much about. Even though I was not a regular, she gave me the VIP treatment from the moment I walked in. The attentive service she provided made my visit truly unforgettable.Though my stay was brief, I couldn't help but take in the cozy atmosphere and inviting ambiance of the pub. The decor was charming and reflected the essence of a traditional Irish pub with its dark wood furnishings, historical memorabilia, and intimate lighting. It was an ideal setting to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet drink.Although I didn't have the chance to savor the food, I could tell from the tantalizing aromas and the satisfied faces of fellow patrons that the cuisine was authentic and delectable. The menu seemed to offer a wide range of traditional Irish dishes and pub favorites, enticing me to return for a proper meal in the future.As I reluctantly took my leave, I made a promise to myself that I would return to St. James Corner Restaurant & Irish Pub, not just for the exceptional service, but also to experience more of what this delightful establishment has to offer. I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved 5 stars and eagerly look forward to my next visit.

Walked past this place so many times and finally decided to try it, and was not disappointed. Some of the best pub food I’ve ever had - the fish and chips were incredible, beef dip was great, and the deep fried ice cream was unreal.Can’t recommend this place enough. Reasonably priced, great staff, excellent service, delicious food. Will be coming back for sure.

I just had to write a review! What lovely and amazingly attentive staff. Sam was my bartender and even asked my name and called me by my name while addressing me. Sometimes this can feel disingenuous but this was not the case. Not only did he look after me extremely well but the server working (Olivia) also checked on me as well which I considered going above and beyond as I was sitting at the bar and not in her section. 11/10 service here and I will come back for the service alone. Whoever is hiring people here is doing a very very good job because the staff here are absolutely lovely. I look forward to coming back!

Tried the beef dip, it was delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor of the beef slices but dipping it made it really great. I would try again for sure. The chips were also very crunchy and really added to the sandwich. The service though is not that good, it took a while for someone to take our order and to pay.

Good atmosphere for a drink and listening to the live music... Customers and staff are so nice at this place. You can be chilled and relaxed. I came here after dinner, maybe next time I will try the food.

Went here last night for wing night with some friend's. Place was busy so food took a bit which was no big deal. The Wong's were way undercooked and raw. Noticed after eating a few too many. The table beside us had the same issue. They complained and got the wings comped for them. When we mentioned and showed the wings our response from the server was the other tables were worse" and nothing more. Will not be returning here ever again."
