I have worked with Melwood Mantles on two fireplace projects during the past year and have been delighted with all aspects of their work. This business puts the customer first and delivers a very high-quality, superbly-designed and expertly installed product. A year ago, Steven and the Melwood team created a beautiful fireplace for our Waterloo condo. This year we bought a new home in London, ON and when selling our Waterloo residence, the fireplace was a definite selling feature. So when it came to renovating the new London home and redesigning the existing “oddball” fireplace, I knew exactly who to call. Steven designed a stunning new, double-sided surround for the existing firebox. What makes this company excellent in my mind is not only their quality construction and customer communications, it is their solid understanding of fireplace design and critical elements such as proportion and balance. The installation went smoothly and quickly. We love our new home and the fireplace is the centrepiece. Many thanks to Steven and the Melwood team for a great job.
