Bowmanville Golf and Country Club
Have played this course many times this year. Never really had an issue with booking or course conditions, the fairways on a couple holes can get a bit crispy, but I haven't seen it in unplayable shape. Bring your sunscreen for the front 9 and bug spray for the back 9 and let it fly! Staff have always been delightful, good beer selection in tge snack shop. Lots of challenging holes for the high handicapper, good selection of par 3s, 4s and 5s. Love the rustic feel of the club and will happily return again and again!

Course was nice. Issue was with Marshall. Telling my son and his buddy and myself to pick up the pace. Yet at every hole we had to wait for people in front of us who were smoking pot and leaving their buds on the driving tee. Very disappointed. Through all our games off. Maybe booking times a bit further apart might help. But if money is more important then I don’t see any improvement happening.

This is an okay tract to play. The t-boxes need to be repaired of divets and the fairways are rough, but the greens seem to be well maintained. Wide open on the front 9 and narrow on the back. One par 5 is a true dog leg and you need a strategy to get around it.

Price is reasonable, course is in decent condition. The course is difficult - lots of narrow treed-in fairways, I always find myself losing lots of balls here. Accuracy is key.

Course needs some care, tee boxes need a bit of help. Greens look like someone drove over them. Course has potential to be great, bit overpriced currently.

Greens were in very good shape, as were the tee boxes. Many fairways were rather sparse, leaving balls sitting on dirt in the middle of the fairway.

As always, the course is in great shape. Greens were damp making them pretty slow today but we were out pre-7am. It's a nice narrow course that favours a leftie with a slice and punishes a rightie with a slice. Super reasonable fees and pretty minimal hazards, but plenty of woods. Being deet and a glove to reach into the poison ivy if you're off the fairway. :)

Course has the potential to be a great course, greens are well kept, Tee boxes could use a little bit of loving, fairways aren't very noticeable, there's not much of a difference between rough and fairway! Sand traps are nice and fluffy, the pace of play is reasonable!Prices seem to be a little on the higher side for the quality of golf, wouldn't mind coming to the course if the prices were a little more reasonable.Overall still a nice course with beautiful scenery, nice course design and very friendly staff!! The potential is there with this course

$58 to walk on a Saturday. As others have stated, the cost to play this course is not represented in the quality of it.
