Very peaceful & beautiful.It can be a busy-ish lil road but usually quiet. Many paths for ALL & puppies most welcome.

An idyllic little corner of the Gatineau, full of peace and beauty. If you are visiting Wakefield, Quebec, do take this short detour behind the Wakefield Mill Hotel and enjoy the panoramic view of the hills. It is especially lovely in the fall. The cemetary itself is moving, with tributes to some of Canada's leading politicians and TV personalities.

Burial site of many prominent Canadians, notably Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson and some of the top civil servants in Canada's Foreign Affairs Department, including Hume Wrong, Norman Robertson, and Rob Bryce. Many leading national broadcasters as well. Beautiful panoramic view south.

This is the final resting place of former Canadian Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson. I did not know this fact when I visited for the first time, but now I encourage visiting this local gem because of such historical significance.

Such a beautiful cemetery. It's tucked away in the hills. When we visited there was a storm passing and the thunder rolled thru the mountains like a big echo.
