Miami Fades Ajax Barbershop

This was by far the most expensive cut I have received to date: $62! It was legit a fade with light scissor work on top. Buddy didn't even go to the length I wanted. Fade was clean though. No razor work, no hair washing, but he did line the sides of my beard and there was hot tewl service with a machine massage (a first at a shop). I just can't get over the level of service for the price...

Let the reviews speak for themselves...the Miami Fades brand is a step above the rest! They take pride in offering quality service, they are extremely clean and well run but most of all their cuts are second to none.I would highly recommend them to anyone. If you’re looking for somewhere new or better than your current barber you need to check them out!

When dealing with a lower back injury which was preventing me from sitting on those leather barber chairs, I walked into Miami Fades Ajax looking for someone who could give Me a fade/cut standing up.When I walked in I was greeted by Brandon. As I described the story, he instantly lit up with excitement and said I'm Game". He said He would think of a way to make it work and call Me the following day.I came back and got an Amazing fade. Got greeted at the door with welcoming smiles and an amazing shop look. I had Brandon give me a fade and line up that was my best haircut ever. He asked me plenty of questions to make sure we’re both on the same page and made me feel comfortable and overall the best service I have received from a barber.

I've been going to Miami Fades Ajax for a few years. Brandon has been cutting my hair for most of that time. He is extremely professional and very talented. He's courteous, accommodating and cares about making the customer happy. Would definitely recommend.

Edit: The owner called me to address this and I very much respect that. I’ve updated to 4 stars because of this. Customer care goes a long way for me and I can appreciate Dwight attempting to rectify this problem.The barber that cut me was from bc. Cool guy, good work on the cut. He is the only reason I’m giving a star. The reason for this rating is due to the ridiculous price these ppl charge. I have a beard, and this price didn’t even include a shave. $55!!!!! PLUS TAX!!! I was absolutely blown away. I gave a tip because it’s not the barbers fault for the price this establishment charges. So after all that my total was $70. Disgusting. They also have no price lists to show this highway robbery. Needless to say, I will never return here. Price gouging at its peak.

I was in Ajax visiting my spouse’s parents before heading to Montreal for the weekend. I decided to get my haircut at Miami Fades in Ajax. Did a lot of research and the place that I have used in the past (when in town) is Custom Cutz who are absolutely wonderful, but my regular barber Alex was not working.Anyway, to book an appointment, this establishment requests your name, email, mobile, birthday, address and credit card to, which seemed excessive to me, but wanted to give them a try regardless. I booked an appointment promptly at 9:06 am for 2 pm and reserved confirmation. Since I have never tried them before, I selected “any” available barber. After receiving my confirmation text and email, I immediately selected confirmed and awaited my appointment. When I arrived 5 min early the two barbers who were working said to “oh, your barber did not come in and we are booked at 2 pm”. What a huge disappointment! Had someone contacted me after seeing my booking to advise that there was not space, I could’ve made alternate plans elsewhere.Very bad communication and customer service and while I love supporting local establishments, I don’t think I will ever return to Miami Fades.Timing was also everything as my train was due to leave at 3:56 pm, so finding another barber on a Friday after 2 pm before a scheduled Via Rail journey is not possible. Oh well, the open bar in business class will soothe this frustration.

Had an amazing first time experience with Jason. He’s kind and professional. So glad we came here! Both boys have different hair (one curly, one straight), he handled both perfectly. Loved the fades! Can’t wait to come back here again.
