My Petropolis

I was so happy when this place accepted my cat who has FIV. I searched hard to find a place for him to stay while I was out going out of the country. I was disappointed when other popular places rejected him due to this Illness. My cat was very happy there and the staff were very friendly and understanding. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you.

Kitty hair cut reasonably priced really well done cut nails and bath gave him a little tie as well

Our doodle had some matting and not only came out with a great cut, but the groomer took the time to give me advice on how to maintain his coat between grooming. So appreciated. 2 weeks later, I'm brushing him every day and getting so many compliments on his coat!

So I have a very anxious dog. And so his doggy day care visits would sometimes be cancelled or have the time moved so he’s not getting dropped off right at opening time when there’s a lot of foot traffic. Which is fine usually we are given a days notice and can work out something else. This time I called the day before to book him in for the next morning. The lady on the phone put me on hold for a minute to go check that they had room and staff available to fit him in for a day of doggy care and even offered me 7:30am drop off time. I know he’s anxious there so even though 7:30 was more convenient I said I would bring him at 8:15. 45 minutes later when there is less foot traffic coming and going. So come the morning of - I get a call from the owner of my petropolis saying they can’t take houston until 10:00 as they don’t have staff to accommodate his anxiousness and it was a new staff who booked him. I had to be at work for 9:00 so now my dog wouldn’t get a walk for the whole day since I didn’t have time to walk him due to the short notice and staff error.So I called back to my petropolis to see if we could make something work for one day. The way I was spoken to and treated by the owner over this surpasses rude and was just nasty. She hung up on the phone on me when I explained I wouldn’t have time to walk him now. When I arrived at my petropolis she greeted me with folded arms and a dirty look. No “hello.” And then angrily blamed me for the confusion instead of apologizing for a new staff error. Also, the owner wanted him dropped off 3 hours after opening time with no notice and offered no price adjustment despite trying to last minute attempt to move the reservation back 3 hours. Ultimately I was able to leave my dog there for the day but I will never be back. This was a staff error. When I made the reservation the staff put me on hold to double check it and offered me 7:30am. I opted myself to move it back to 8:45. Yet the owner blamed me entirely and was extremely rude. This was the worst customer experience I have EVER had.I should have realized almost all of the reviews are for pet grooming and not the doggy day care. Maybe this poor customer service, blaming customers for staff errors, hanging up the phone on customers is why.

My dog absolutely loved it here was tired after playing all day. Great grooms service as well. Great experience.

Ben loves it here, he's always so happy to go and exhausted when we pick him up. We also take our 2 cats for grooming and they do an awesome job.

Our dog absolutely loves her time during daycare at Petropolis! She will whine from the car if we take too long to park and get her inside. It's great stimulation and socialization for her, and we feel so confident that the staff are keeping her safe and happy. She's a happier pup after a day at Petropolis!

The staff was friendly, and took my dog in at the last minute. The groomer did a great job on my dog and the bandana they put on her was really cute.
