A Helpful Handyman

Jairus did a great job recaulking my bathroom shower stall.He worked very quickly and the shower stall looks very beautiful after he recaulked it. Jairus seemed very knowledgeable to me and knew what he was doing.I also asked him to check around my kitchen faucet sink as well as my second bathroom faucets and fans to make sure that everything is in good working order, and after he gave his approval that everything looked fine I felt a lot better. He also was able to lessen a noise that occurred after flushing my guest bathroom toilet each time.Overall, I would say that Jairus is a very honest and trustworthy handyman, and does excellent work. Plus, his fees are reasonable.

I was impressed with Jairus’ efficiency and solutions-finding ability. My mom’s sink faucet fittings were completely rusted due to multiple water overflow incidents. The copper piping was not compatible with those of the new faucet and the braided hose that Jairus had in stock were incompatible with the other parts. Jairus came up with a solution to overcome each challenge. He also replaced one of our swinging doors with a folding door within minutes! We are super happy with the results! Thanks Jairus!!

Jay is amazing at his craft with great attention to detail and making sure to leave his workspace spotless after he's done. Beyond that, he's very courteous and kind, would highly recommend him to anyone. He repaired some doors that weren't closing well, installing an awning, and insulated a wall for us. Thanks Jay!

Jay was on time and friendly. He replaced some caulking in my shower and communicated often about how the work was going and any issues that came up. I would hire him again!

Had a great experience with Jairus! He gave me really good tips with another drywall ceiling crack that wasn't part of the service I asked for. He shared his expertise on drywall with me which was really helpful as I don't know much about it. I felt he was very professional and respectful when he came to work on the repairs. Would definitely recommend!

Jay/Jairus is great. This was the second or third time I used his services. He's knowledgeable, has integrity and is trustworthy. He gets the job done and his prices are fair. While he was installing a light switch for me, he was telling me how he's come upon an elderly couple who were scammed by someone else for a shower install and Jay is advocating on behalf of the couple to ensure they get their money back, even potentially getting a consumer ombudsman involved. Not many people would do that, or care enough to get involved, so Jay gets a bonus gold star for that. I highly recommend Jay to you. As long as I live in this neighbourhood I will continue to count on Jay when I have something which is beyond my own handyman capabilities. Thanks Jay.

Jairus came to our home twice to install grab bars in our bathrooms. We found him to be a true professional who does his very best to do an excellent job. He is extremely efficient and does not waste time. He is very dependable, trustworthy and respectful. His prices are very fair and reasonable. We are seniors who appreciated very much his honest advice and sincere concern for our welfare. Also we are the elderly couple who were scammed by someone else for a shower install. Jairus went out of his way to help us and get our money back and we are eternally grateful to him. We feel very blessed and fortunate that we met him and can rely on him for future jobs. Helpful Handymen installed a new in-the-wall air conditioner for us. The old a/c had to be removed and a larger hole cut in the wall to accommodate a bigger unit. Jay was great! He was courteous, professional and did a great job. We will definitely call again for other projects.
