The individuals at SecurU are prompt and very professional, Tim knew what I needed and was quick to get service to my home, he followed up through the whole process. The service is quick unlike other places that put you on hold and do not address your issues. The service team was phenomenal, they took the time to install, trouble shoot and explain how the system and app work. I definitely recommend SecurU over the other alarm companies!

I recently had a camera security system installed in my home by SecurU.The installation crew was extremely professional and courteous and they made sure each camera was installed as I had requested.When they left the job, they had cleaned up and you would not have known anyone had been working at our home.The Wi-Fi at my location is poor, but Doug and his staff worked very hard and resolved the few issues that created.Mina, the technical support person is wonderful and he took a great amount of time and care to be sure I understood the program and how it works. Secur U installed our initial alarm system 13 years ago, and over the years, have added on other features as our family grew. When it was time for us to move on from landline to cellular system, we contacted Secur U for consultations. Everything went smoothly, and very quickly. What was impressive was the people who consulted us and who came to work on the system were the same people who installed the first system 13 years ago. It says something about the company when they can retain employees like that. Highly recommended.

I saw that the most recent review was dated 2 years ago so I'm not sure if SecurU is under new ownership but my experience with them was abysmal! Our alarm was malfunctioning, waking me up at all hours of the night. So I called the 24-HOUR monitoring center, but got a VOICEMAIL! Thinking that this must be some mistake, I called again and still got a machine. This is what I pay for?? After no one returned my call later that day - during normal waking hours - I contacted them again and they said that a technician would not be available to come to our home for another 4 days! In the meantime I was advised to deactivate the area of the home (zone) where it appears that a sensor is malfunctioning... because that's safe! It also did not help as the alarm was STILL going off randomly. Will definitely be selecting a different security company in our next home!1* because 0 is not an option. They are excellent, until you actually need them!

I have known Doug Penson (President) and his family for 30 years now. Doug comes from a family of hard working and dedicated people, that trait lives on in him, for instance, the Secur-U business has done very well and Doug still takes the time to answer the phone, take care of customer questions and still does some on site quotes/follow up. Doug's knowledge of the security business (and most grateful) his blunt honesty to make sure you are purchasing the best equipment for your situation is very comforting. Our first house we were stuck in a security contract with another company (This is what you get when you sign papers without reading front to back) it was a nightmare, horrible customer service and major issues continued, unreliable to the point we never armed our house and had to bother family to visit or stay at the home while we were away. to sum this up, Secure-U has been 100% perfect for close to 8 years now, could not be happier and highly recommend at least getting a quote, even if it isn't by Doug himself, his staff are excellent and get the job done on time and professional. thank you

We recently had SecurU install a new thermostat in our three story town. I am visually challenged and the opportunity to set it from my phone was perfect. However, we found another benefit. We are absolutely amazed how much impact this had on the temperature, particularly on the third story. of our town house. Happy to say we can now sleep with covers in summer! Thanks to all at SecurU: friendly staff, skilled technicians and prompt service. I would recommend SecurU to all my friend and clients.

If I could give zero stars I would. My parents have SecurU as their alarm system providers. Yesterday they were broken into, the company couldn't get a hold of my parents as they were away from their phones at the time. The company was NOT told everything was Okay. They didn't even contact the cops. My parents came home to their broken into house and they had to contact the cops themselves. Terrible service. The company only ended up contacting my parents 9 hours later to see if they were okay." Absolutely would NOT RECOMMEND. My parents could have been in danger and they didn't even do what they are paid for."

Alway a great experience !! I have been using SecurU for over 5 years now for 2 business locations and now most recent our new home. Multiple cameras at both shops along with Alarm system monitoring Very Professional installers that are patient and take the time to help with the application use for new equipment etc. We are installing some smart home features to our house including door locks Garage door wireless systems Wireless light switches that are all controlled by the same simple to use SecurU App. They are quick to respond to any issues and make sure you are satisfied. I highly recommend this company.

We had SecurU install a video doorbell and security cameras at our house. From the consultation to the installation we received excellent service, and more importantly good advice. Would absolutely recommend, especially to other homeowners who want the wok done well (hidden wires, neat and tidy).
