Abel’s On Queen - Barbershop

I've been looking for a barber since mine moved, and was very happy to find Abel's. JP cuts a great head of hair, at an appropriate price.I've already booked my next cut.

The vibe here is awesome. Everyone is super chill and the shop is stunning with a retro modern aesthetic and the cut quality here is great even with Eric the apprentice which is definitely one of the better apprentices that has worked on my hair. Definitely will be my go-to shop in KW.

After a bad cut at another local barber, I was very pleased with the cut i got at Abel's. Eric was spot on. Perfect fade. I think the best cut I've had and was first time meeting him. Nice clean store and very friendly too. Would highly recommend.

Hair my hair cut by Michelle today. I was trying this place because when I walked by it always seemed busy. Nice atmosphere, the staff were all very friendly and chatting with me. The haircut turned out nice, a bit different from what I normally go for but it ended up looking really good. Had some good conversations during the process, and it didn’t seem forced. A little on the pricey side compared to other barbers, but ended up with a good haircut. She was very detail oriented. Would recommend!

Went here for my first haircut since 2019! Mitch was awesome - really nice guy and a master of his craft. Will be going back again.

I've been coming to Abel's on and off over the last 2 years and have always gotten a great haircut from JP every time I'm there. I'm hesitant to get a cut at a new place due to my hair being super straight and thick and most barbers usually shave it tight due to not knowing what to do with it. JP gave me the perfect combover cut as if I've been going there frequently forever the first time I was. Super friendly guy and an awesome barber.

I had a beard trim with Mitch Dickert. It was absolutely amazing. I went to few different barbershop and always had to fix something at home but today everything was perfect and now its my to go place.

This was the best barber experience I have ever had. Mitch was fantastic, attentive, and clearly talented at what he does. I did not have a barbershop that I would consistently go to, until now. I will definitely be going back and appreciate the time and care that was taken for my appointment. Great spot!

After a bad experience with a Magicuts that nearly buzzed me bald, I started looking for something a bit more upscale and professional and close to home. This is where Abel's comes in.Abel's is a small barber shop, located in downtown Kitchener, with a lot of personality. Located right next to the Coffee Culture, which is across a hall from it, giving you a nice spot to wait for your appointment. Once inside, you will meet the group of barbers who work there. Many of them are tattoo covered, fun-loving people, with great taste in music. They all get along and are bantering with each other and their clients, crearing a light atmosphere.The work they due is immaculate, and relaxing. You feel like you are in good hands, and nothing ends a cut better than a hot neck shave.They offer other services such as beard trims, as well as group events, if preparing for a wedding.Abel's is my go to now for a hair cut, and I couldn't be happier.

I cannot recommend or say enough good things about Abel’s (formerly Spearhead) and their staff, their captain Mitchell Bright is my barber but each member on staff has an equal dedication to their craft, an eye for detail, a true love for what they do, and a professional demeanor which is beyond reproach. As a Professional Piercer cleanliness is of supreme importance to me and my clients, and Abel’s holds those same ideals close to heart which is just one of the many reasons I wish I could give them more stars on this review, and why I will proudly advertise their business in my own.
