Lovely spot! I highly recommend the tea and scones, they are a very well priced combo. The scones are fresh out of the oven and you get a pot of tea to yourself. Good vibes, good scones, good tea!

Back in 2019 we went for High Tea at Cakes n Sweets in Coquitlam. All of us loved it back then and when we found ourselves wanting to go for High Tea again recently, we could think of no better place to go than to Cakes n Sweets. We were a party of five and two of us (our daughter and myself) had a Vegetarian High Tea while the other three had the regular High Tea. I was pleased to learn that they could offer a Vegetarian menu as there's no mention of it on their website.Over the years, High Tea has become extraordinarily expensive. When we went to Cakes n Sweets back in 2019, it was the only place where we could get High Tea for less then $30 per person. The price has gone up slightly from what it was previously. It's now $33 per person; however, that's still a lot less than what most other places charge. For High Tea, it's still the best deal I know of.Most of us had tea; however, there was one person in our group who doesn't like tea and so she opted for hot chocolate instead. What a delight it was to see that they served the hot chocolate in a teapot just like the rest of us who were having tea. The food was superb, just as it was the last time we came; however, there was one item that had changed and that was the egg salad sandwich. When we came back in 2019, they served us egg salad sandwiches inside mini croissants. This time they used regular sandwich bread. Our daughter and I would have much preferred them to have used the mini croissants again. I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 since they now use regular sandwich bread instead of the mini croissants. Other than that, the food was wonderful. Parking is plentiful and free, and the service was excellent. The lady who served our table was delightfully bubbly and cheerful! I would highly recommend coming to Cakes n Sweets for High Tea!

We had good snack sized desserts here before. However, the 4 inch Ube Purple Yam Cake we ordered today tasty dry and greasy. It didn't taste fresh even though they assured me it was made in the morning of the pick up.

We’ve ordered a cake for a wedding, bridal shower, and baby shower and each cake has been beautiful. The flavour is also very good. We’ve gotten the strawberry cream each time for the cake and we like it because it isn’t overly sweet. For our wedding we also ordered a variety of cupcakes and everyone really enjoyed them.

I took my wife here for her birthday and we both were really happy with the service we received. We ordered the high tea menu. Just so you know, you need to make reservation for high tea. All items on the serving were really delicious and fresh scones are so Good. Macaroons were crunchy outside and soft inside. Tea selection was good enough. Staff was attentive. We will recommend this place to family and friends for sure

I went in to get a few items so I could make my own little birthday bundle for a friend. When I asked for a box for the items, the incredibly kind employee put this beautiful box together for me with the stuffing and everything! I am so impressed!They also have the most delicious lemon cupcake that I have ever had. Would highly recommend!

Great local Cakes.We bought a cheesecake which was delicious. Parking spots are easy to find. They are very welcoming and patient listening to your needs and if any customization needs to be made.Variety of cakes can improve.

My friends and I went here on Saturday for high tea. This was the first experience we’ve ever had at cakes n sweets. It’s a really cute place. The staff are great as well and we really enjoyed the high tea. I also ended up going home with a carrot flavoured cupcake and the mini vanilla bean cheesecake. Omg they were so delicious! Hoping to come back in the near future to try more of what they offer and definitely to try out the cakes they have as well. Thank you Cakes N Sweets!
