Doctor Joel was amazing. I had a blood clot in my left knee that had got so bad it caused a terrible case of tendinitis. Doctors had never seen that before because it doesn’t happen often but doctor Joel still took the time to learn more about it and a correct way of rehabbing my knee. Highly recommend them for any kind of physio therapy.

I came to CBI on the heels of an MVA involving me on my bicycle (!) and I was desperate to get on with my recovery and be able to swim again. Eric was my physiotherapist, and from the moment I met him and we had our first session he and I had an understanding that I needed to be able to swim lengths as soon as possible.Twice a week in the therapy pool plus several visits to the office to establish a home-exercise regime I progressed quickly and was able to swim in the cool pool' at the NAC again after two months!I am very grateful to Eric and for his youthful enthusiasm and vibrant presence that encouraged me along. I now embrace pain with purpose over pain with no end in sight and thank the CBI for their choices and expertise in staff...I am feeling strong and able and despite the injuries feel in control of the pain and my recovery."

My physiotherapist, Eric, has made such an amazing difference in my recovery. He asks pertinent questions, listens and is very attentive. He then uses different techniques to treat me depending on the type of pain I have and where it is located on my body. I can't say enough to express what a change he has made in my recovery.The whole centre is great! The help I got from working with Shelly, the Kinesiologist, is something I’ve taken into my daily life. She set me up with stretching and strengthening routines and had the patience of correcting my posture on more than one occasion! Always kind and friendly, she too made a big difference in my healing process. Oh yes, therapy in the pool was very helpful as well!And I can’t forget about Nicole, Emily and Andrew at the reception desk. They are always on top of the appointments and records and are reading to help wherever they can. There’s always a cheery greeting, and a nice goodbye and, we usually have a laugh or two as well.The whole place feels like a place of healing, not one of ailments. I have been following Eric for past few years. His IMS treatments have been excellent to help me to continue as a spa massage provider. After 12 years of leaning forward and working a physical job. Eric made physio fun, kept it interesting, and helped me progress way faster than I ever thought possible after my sprained ankle. The pool sessions are awesome for getting back to walking normally again.

My experience has been life-changing I started in January I could barely walk and had difficulties getting out of bed due to a motor vehicle accident where I was rear-ended I've been seeing Eric now for 3 months it's amazing how he has changed my life with expertise as a physiotherapist

Physiotherapists have no idea about how to treat injuries. Asked each one separately what injuries my muscles and body had and treatment. They had no idea. OR2 program, because of finding an electrical issue with the rehabilitation machine for people who are unable to walk I was discharged and informed that I was capable of returning to work. Electrical Authority of Nanaimo ordered Denmar electric repair machine's power connection and passed inspection. I'm now PWD and incapable of returning to work. All because the CBI are partners with WorkSafeBC. CBI paperwork indicated that I was incapable. WCB physician with no proof stopped rehabilitation and financial services. Previous employee of Westcore industries. I recorded my conversations as any WorksafeBC client should. Brian Thompson

I have been a client of CBI Aquatic centre for the past 8 months, through pre surgery strengthening in preparation for surgery as well as post surgery.I have been dealing with both Eric and Julia, they are both extremely knowledgeable and professional.Their upbeat personalities are a welcome change to the normal clinic atmosphere.It has been a pleasure to be a client of theirs.Thank you so much for helping me through such a difficult time.I highly recommend this clinic to anyone having difficulty with body mechanics.Thanks again everyone.

Very good treatment by Eric over several weeks for a debilitating knee issue. He provided treatment and several exercises which have greatly improved my mobility. Very professional and knowledgeable as well as positive. A great facility and would certainly recommend Eric.
