Gull Harbour Marina and Lighthouse Inn

Only used the boat launch and parking. Staff were friendly, but lines are long. They really need another launch or two, and more parking. Don't even think about looking at the commercial docks, never-mind touching them.

We went here for our first dinner ut to hecla and it was the perfect start to our trip.Not only did they take reservations we had a great server and the food was delicious. No one had a single bad thing to say about the meals.They had a pool table which helped distract some of the kids while waiting for dinner and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was so cute.It was a great spot and we will be going back on our next visit up.

Pickerel cheeks were a little dry (overdone) but flavor was good. Chipotle/chorizo dip was great. Perfect amount of heat. Service was good albeit a little slow as he was serving all tables and bartending as well.Would definitely return!

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. I was pleasantly surprised when entering the restaurant. We sat in the screened in sunroom/porch area which has a beautiful view over the lake. The fish and chips were excellent - the pickerel is caught locally from the lake and is cooked in a very light and crispy batter. Shoe string french fries and a small side of coleslaw were also tasty. Very reasonable prices. We walked to the nearby beach afterwards - beautiful. If you're in the area, this is must try.

After having a not so great meal at the resort we decided to make reservation here and we are glad that we did. My wife and I both ordered the steak amd fries and wow just wow. We liked it so much we made a reservation for the next night and the next night the food was even better. This experience made our weekend celebrating our anniversary that much better. Thank you for the great service, the great atmosphere and the oh so great food. We have decided that we are this same trip every year for our anniversary just because you guys made it that much better.

We had a wonderful meal. There was 17 of us and they were so accommodating. We made a reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived. Abi was our server and he was friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience a nice one. Our food was timely, hot, fresh and so delicious. They served the kids meals within 15 minutes of ordering them, the adults weren’t far behind. We were in and out within 90 minutes.The atmosphere is friendly for various occasions and all the staff seemed very friendly and happy to have us, even being such a large group. They were very accommodating to my dad who is diabetic and avoids carbs and sugar, they made him the pickerel cheeks dish over vegetables instead. He said the flavour was amazing and this was his favourite meal of the vacation so far!We had quite a few things on the menu, everyone had rave reviews! The portions are very adequate and the kids menu is very good value.The Pickerel cheeks are a must have, the arugula salad was a great winter salad, the Brussel sprouts and my daughter loved the poutine. Even the fact that the fries were seasoned with salt and pepper, there is definitely a chef in the kitchen! We will be back and highly recommend it.

Our experience here was almost perfect! The view was perfect, with lots of areas and lounge chairs to hang out on the deck and soak in that wonderful view and the sun. The rooms were beautiful, with a wonderful shower. The restaurant was great, with lots of options and tasted wonderful. The service was top tier. The only issue we had was an abrupt wake up the first morning, with someone hammering right outside the room at 8am — but that was also resolved by the staff there once brought to their attention. Can’t say enough great things about our experience here, all in all. And a big shout out to Tammy — she is the absolute best!We will be coming back here every year for our anniversary — especially for the food!

Outstanding food by Chef Allyson.Last year we were wowed by the quality of the food and beautiful new decor. We then booked our annual October stay here and we were not disappointed. Every appetizer we sampled was delicious, the main of pan fried pickerel and vegetables was exquisite. The dessert shared among the 4 of us devoured. The staff were all really helpful, and attentive despite the main area of the restaurant being full. We have booked our stay for next year.

The atmosphere is absolutely amazing! So inviting! The food was incredible. You can really tell a lot of love goes into this place. Our talented bartender/ server was running the entire restaurant with ease. Thank you Abhi for the wonderful experience!
