Artistic Stairs & Railings | Calgary

Our experience with Artistic Stairs was professional from start to finish. We were replacing handrail and bannisters. Keith Murray, our sales person, was extremely helpful and gave us excellent advice. He listened carefully to our ideas and suggested options that we had not thought of that improved the project greatly without adding to the cost. Chris Flack, the installer, was a true craftsman who made certain the installation was perfect. He consulted with us on all the little details to make sure the railings were exactly as we wanted. We cannot recommend Artistic Stairs highly enough, both for the service we received and for the quality of the finished installation. Thank you Keith and Chris, we are delighted with the result.

Dealing with Artistic Stairs was fantastic. David Dickie was the sales associate that helped us and did a great job organising the installation of the stairs. The installer Chris Flack arrived on time, took all the COVID measures needed to make us feel safe, did the job and cleaned up after himself. Overall great experience and would use them again.

We recently had new stairs built and could not have been more impressed. The oak stairs that Artistic built on sight are a focal point in our home ,so we were so happy to see the beautiful result. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to add or replace stairs in their home..Our sales person was Craig Rempel , he gave great service and the install crew were fantastic.

We have used Artistic Stairs on our renovation and it was a fantastic experience, from the quote to the installation. Damian, our installer was amazing guy, polite, quite, clean and very professional. He took time to explain to me step-by-step of the installation of our new railing. Artistic Stairs is a good company to work with. I would personally recommend it. It's a very well organized company, with a great community and very helpful employees. The sales person I talked to was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He had a very good understanding of what he was doing and answered whatever questions I had. I was also very pleased to find out there was a wide range of designs and styles they had to choose from. From start to finish, it didn't take them very long to complete my request and I am very happy with the results I got for my stairs. Great quality stairs and great people that get the job done!

Using Artistic Stairs has been a very frustrating experience. Ordering the railing was good as the salesperson was knowledgeable and easy to deal with. It went downhill from there when the installation supervisor came to measure the railing and did not bother to ask me what I would like. He just assumed the width and length of the shoe and railing. A terrible Installer was sent to Install the shoe which was done three times, as he forgot to raise the shoe to accommodate the new flooring and then he raised it too high and had to do it a third time. Another more seasoned professional installer was sent to rectify other issues with the shoe after I got the installation supervisor and manager involved.The railing that was fabricated is beautiful and that installation went well except for some minor damage on my wall which should have and could have been avoided.I would not recommend Artistic Stairs.

We have used Artistic Stairs on a few of our renovation projects undertaken that required new railings. With their depth of knowledge being in this business for many years and their product line, they are true professionals dedicated to their craft. Their work and workmanship has been fantastic. On our last project, our assigned installer was always on time, meticulous about his install and the job was completed on time. The end result was beautiful and our clients were extremely happy. After reviewing a number of other companies I decided to go with Artistic Stairs mainly due to the positive reviews. All I can say is if you need stairs, this company is a MUST. They could teach customer service. From the initial contact with Dave Dickie when planning our project to the follow up with Lucas Lamirande who is the project manager, everything went well. We even had a hiccup with another contractor which changed the height of our deck after the stairs had already been fabricated. Both Dave and Lucas came round without being asked to see for themselves what the problem was and how they could assist to fix the issue. Needless to say a solution was found and the stairs installed with no fuss or drama.You really can't go wrong with this company, so much so I have just placed an order for matching deck railings to compliment the fantastic spiral staircase!Thank you for your professionalism, communication and work ethic!

We mostly dealt with Dave D and he was fantastic. He walked us through the process, helped us narrow down our choices while never pressuring us. He gave expert advice when we asked and really took good care of us. He was also very honest and frank about costs and what to expect, so we were ready for everything when they came to install the railings. I highly recommend this place and make sure to ask for Dave!
