Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday, was greeted with a warm welcome and prompt service. We had take out, two bbq over rice and the quality, flavour and portion were well worth it! Combined with the great service I highly recommend those who are looking for a spot to grab a quick delicious lunch to go!

I dropped by Danny's wonton on August 7 on way way to Vancouver. I ordered a wonton noddle soup and bbq pork belly . I could not fisnished both. The wonton is not fresh and in a bordeline rotten stage. It actually has a funny taste. The bbq pork belly is too fat, tasteless and thin. I cannot recommend both. They are not authentic Hong Kong style. Luckily, there are more good wonton shops in Richmond.

I wish we had photos, but we finished our dishes. This place is a traditional, old-school hk style food, which is extremely hard to find these days. If you remember the good classic chinese food from 30+ years ago, this is place. The food was a delight and a flash back to the past. The staff was extremely friendly, which is oddly weird since I'm used to everyone yelling :) Long story short, if you are looking for good, old school hk chinese food, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Ridiculously high prices for such a washed up place. I'd suggest buying from higher-end chinese restaurants in Richmond, where you actually pay for good quality food as oppose to this hole-in-the-wall style food that this place has. They gotta cut down the price for each dish by at least 25%-30% in order for it to be worth the money. Otherwise, not worth the high prices that they charge at all.

Food quality is good 8/10. The dishes are quite small for the amount you pay. Quantity 6/10.Dine in service was lacking as well 6/10. Not a lot of competition in the area but you can find better options in central Richmond.

The food has always been good here, thus winning best of Richmond on several occasions. Service is also always friendly and personable. The real downside of Danny's is price but with inflation as it is, this is the case everywhere now. And price usually guarantees quality so if you want to be sure of a top quality meal, Danny's is a solid choice.

I ordered the standard beef guts mixed" soup noodle and it was very poor quality for $16. The brisket is hard and overcooked

The beef brisket and beef tendon hot pot was delicious, and not over-flavored with chinese five spice. The Shanghai noodles were the right amount of chewy and very flavorful. I am very sensitive to freezer burned food and tasted that with the chicken used in the sweet and sour chicken balls. The chicken balls had nice chucks of pineapple and onions in the sauce. We also ordered the beef and mixed vegetables, the veggies were nice and crispy but not as flavorful as the rest of the dishes. These dishes and a side of steamed rice came to $63 before tip. The service was very good, questions answered and tea and water refilled regularly.

Genuinely the best Chinese restaurant in the metro vancouver area. There is nothing like it.The wonton noodle soup and the fried spicy garlic tofu are must haves!

I ordered a large pick 2 rice combo. For $17, the portion was smaller than expected. The cuts of the BBQ pork were poorly done - there were pieces that were super thin and some super thick. The roasted pork was a bit over cooked. Overall the dish was pretty underwhelming. I would recommend just going for their wonton noodles instead of their bbq selections.
