Hickory Dickory Decks - St. Thomas

This company is by far the most expensive composite deck builder in south western ontario. They wanted to charge us $42,000 + tax for a 12L x 24W deck. This was on average 50% more than all builders. For an inferior composite material to boot.Unless you are looking to contribute to the builder's retirement fund, I would look elsewhere.

Well for a business that we were told is the second largest in the country. To straight out ignore you once Paul the contractor had come by to give us a quote. We were told he would contact us within a week to come back to discuss the quote with us. Well two weeks later still no call.Then we decided to call the head office to ask why we had not heard anything from Paul about the quote. The women who answered the phone said she would contact Paul and have him call us. It's been NOW 6 weeks total and we still haven't heard anything. I guess we were not important or expensive enough of a job to be bothered with them. I do not recommend this company unless you don't mind never getting a call back or maybe it's not worth there time

I'm extremely pleased with the product and especially the service. After the job was completed, everything was totally cleaned up to perfection. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.
