Higher Ground Cafe
Been here a few times and the coffee is good.. Very efficient and friendly staff, love the vibes of the place! When it's not too busy then the overall atmosphere is lovely. It is pretty packed on the weekends.

Higher Ground Cafe
This is a nice cafe located in a very good, walkable community. It’s good for studying, reading, having meetings, etc. In my last visit, though, it took a bit long for my coffee and power outlets are very few here. Vegan options are not many, and they tend to be too greasy.

Higher Ground Cafe
Went for a date with my better half to have a coffee in Kensington and found this amazing place. Excellent options of coffee and tea. The staff (Marissa and Ryan) are friendly and professional. The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. And most importantly, they stay late.Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming to this Kensington location for years. And I don’t know why I keep coming back. Initially it was the atmosphere. It’s cozy and has a fire place. However good luck most days finding a seat. But what really sucks is the food and service. Everyone these days has anxiety so I guess there’s zero pressure for anyone working to show any hustle whatsoever. The food is very mediocre and the prices ghastly. I went there for lunch just now because I’m in a course all weekend and recall again why I just hate going there. If you have any limited amount of time, don’t come here. You will wait (for no apparent reason at all) a very long time for them to wipe avocado on bread and microwave it. I got a chicken sandwich and it was $13! You might think for that price it comes with a side. Nope. Just a sandwich. Most of which you will just fill up on the ciabatta bun and be left wanting for the actual main ingredient for which there was barely any. There is absolutely nothing extraordinary about this place other than it’s right where you’d hope to find a cafe on a weekend in Kensington. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other nearby cafe or restaurant.

Higher Ground Cafe
My favorite coffee place. The quality and consistency of the drinks can vary depending on who makes them that shift, but they very rarely disappoint. I'm impressed by the wide variety of coffees offered either hot or iced, and it's slightly cheaper than equivalents elsewhere in town. Service is always welcoming and helpful.

Worst hot chocolate ever!!! Overly sweet, I asked to make it with oat milk but it was made with regular milk. There’s was no chocolaty taste at all. Starbucks hot chocolate is 10 times better than this one for that price.

What a lovely spot. Great environment to just sit down and read, study, chat, etc.Their menu is sizable and its friendly staff are ready to serve. One of my favourite cafes in Calgary.Shop is walking distance to a wide range of shops and food establishments; Plenty to do in the area. For anyone looking for a nice cafe, I highly recommend this spot.

Higher Ground Cafe
The Higher Ground cafe is a nice place to relax and have a cup of coffee or your can even go and work there. Their speciality coffees are a delicious and the eatables are very scrumptious! The ambience is great and its a good place to catch up with your friends and family. The staff are very polite and quick to get your orders ready. I enjoyed my experience at their cafe.

The Coffee was really good! A lil bit on sweeter side but since it was my first time there I just wanted to make sure I taste it the authentic way! I am sure there might sugar free options for flavour shots they use.
