CAA Store - Kildonan Place

Went there to inquire about trip cancellation insurance. Got there about 4:25pm when they closed at 5pm. Filled out the required paperwork and waited for service. It seems that a lot of their employees go home an hour before leaving a skeleton staff from 4pm to 5pm. Waited the 35 minutes only to be told they wouldn't be able to help me today. You need to adjust your staffing to improve service or allow the people who come in 30 minutes before to be served before employees go home. My question would have literally taken 2 minutes.

We came here to get our passport photos done. It went absolutely fine for 3 of us, and then my 4 year old started to get scared and refused to take the photo due to the flash. My kid was crying and super scared, and we couldn't calm them down. The lady taking the photo was super patient, and doing her best to help us. Luckily, one of the other ladies that worked there came by and really helped us calm my kid and helped us finally get their passport photo.A++++ experience just for that alone. They could easily have just ignored the situation, and as a business not cared if we got the photo or not, but they all stepped up and really helped us get the photo.Thanks again to everyone that worked that day.

The CAA office has many items for sale from local candy to bike accessories to clothing to bags backpacks, etc. Very friendly personnel. Highly recommend.

We have been dealing with Scott Maclaren at this CAA location since 2018, and have received excellent service from him and CAA. He has promptly assisted us with our property insurance needs, being sure to supply us with details on cost and coverage offered by various insurance providers. This has allowed us to not only compare pricing - but just as important, allowed us to see exactly WHAT is covered and offered to us by these policies. If you are searching for an insurance broker, we highly recommend Scott and this CAA location.

Marta was very nice but was not properly informed as to what we were looking for. She did however provide us with some options and recommendations.

I switched to CAA home insurance after my coworker suggested it to me. CAA always used to be large company with reputable name in my mind, however, recent personal experience showed opposite. Before my annual renewal my premiums have been increased without letting me know and I was automatically rolled over into new year without any options. My “senior” insurance broker Leah Mell from Winnipeg does not reply to my emails and my questions are left disregarded,- not sure if it’s company standards or “senior” level of customer service. I feel like my my business is their last priority. The bottom line is I do not recommend CAA due to their below average level of customer service. Solid two stars out of five.
